I love ebly with baked salmon, such as parchment cooked salmon, and other saucy meat dishes such as Jägerschnitzel. Wheat berries are incredibly common in Europe, and especially in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In a recall posted today by the Food Standards Agency (13th October 2023), Aldi have recalled a popular ‘accidentally gluten-free’ product as it now contains gluten not mentioned on the label.

Ebly is the brand that popularized instant wheat berries in Europe, so we ended up just calling this grain Ebly in Europe. Aldi has also issued a recall notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
