About this deal

Storage and transport of your tower is super easy due to its compact design and aluminium (therefore lightweight) components What you see is what you get" with our tower range – we supply you with everything you need to safely build the tower to your desired height

Horizontal & Diagonal Braces fit to the OUTSIDE of the tower frames giving more standing room on the platform. Beware of some other “Super” DIY Towers that have braces connected to the ladder frames, as this will have a serious impact on the working space available. Whilst this is not obvious when first looking, it will be an issue when working on the tower - we have seen this for ourselves! Everything you need to set up a solid scaffold is supplied, including horizontal and diagonal braces, stabiliser bars, and marine plywood footboards with a non-slip surface. The finished structure is able to handle loads of 150kg too, so you won’t have to skip your extra-large bacon sandwich for lunch. Multi-use access system – ideal for jobs either inside or out, whether painting and decorating or in the garden pruning trees The base dimensions are worked out using an involved calculation in EN1004 standards, and it also considers various other factors to determine this. To see if stabilisers are required and what size stabilisers may be needed, look in the manufacturer’s instructions manual and find the schedule of components. It is recommended to fit stabilisers at the first chance in the build sequence and remove them at the end when dismantling. However, if you are unsure, adding the stabilisers to maximise safety is always best. The tower’s components should be inspected at different intervals, and records should always be kept of this. Platform can be set in increments of 0.3m (12") giving safe and comfortable working over a range of heights FREE Stabiliser bars included which fit to each end of the tower giving a large footprint and delivering exceptional stability when in use Fully certified to the latest BSEN 1004 (Class 3) industrial standard by BSI (British Standards Institute), for your reassurance

Inclusive free next day delivery on top of an unbeatable price - beware of "hidden" delivery charges or slow 2,3,4 or even 5 day delivery times! For all us sane folk, that probably doesn’t sound like the safest way to get things done, and so we usually call some scaffolders around and get the pros to do it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Except for the expense that is. Towers are available in a wide range of sizes. The ‘Tower Height’ is measured to the of the top handrail, which is 1m above the platform, where your feet will be. The ‘working height’ of a tower is 1m above the handrail. This is going by the average person having a reach of about 2m. So, for example, if you need to reach 6m up for a job, a 5.2m tower height would be perfect for you.All towers above 9.7m are only recommended for internal use.Obviously, these products come in different heights, but there is more to it than meets the eye. In fact, there are two measurements that you need to know about a tower scaffold. The first, which is the one used in the product description, is the overall height of the structure. The second, and the most important in my opinion, is the maximum height of the standing platform, which is usually a couple of metres lower. So, you need to work out if you can stand on that platform, and reach up safely to the height that you need to work at. In other words, if you need to be able to reach 6 metres and be able to work without stretching, you need a scaffolding tower that is at least 7 metres tall overall. Maximum load
