About this deal

The first two books are mediocre, 2 stars for Shatter Me and 3 for Unravel Me. Ignite me is by far the best of the triology, 4 stars. Destroy Me gets 3.5 and Fracture Me gets a measly 1.5 stars because Adam is just so BORING. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." This collection includes the first three novels, Shatter Me, Unravel Me, and Ignite Me; and the two novellas in the series, Destroy Me and Fracture Me. I get Juliette instant attraction to Adam, first person to be able to touch her her whole life? Shes gonna feel something. That something however is not love, if anything its lust and the first taste of friendship she’s ever had all mushed up. And that’s being generous to Mr Dull Potato Adam. The only redeeming quality to Adam is his love for is brother James. I do love it when YA shows some good sibling relationships.

Me: Destroy Me and Fracture Me (Shatter Me) : Mafi Unite Me: Destroy Me and Fracture Me (Shatter Me) : Mafi

Fracture Me: non sono nemmeno sicura di volergli dare un giudizio, perché trovo Adam troppo irritante e inutile Even if they manage to have the upper hand in a fight, Adam’s recently found half brother Warner would be difficult to prevail against. If it meant eradicating Adam and everyone he cares about, the Reestablishment would do whatever it took to put down a rebellion. They would do whatever it took.Never mind all that bec. Like any dark romance mafia, Tahere set out to make Warner the ultimate book boyfriend Juliette thought she would be able to kill Warner with a single touch, but his apparent immunity to her powers has shaken her. Thankfully, her and Adam were able to escape from Warner and joined a group of rebels. Here Juliette’s powers don’t make her an outlier when many of the rebels have powers too. The story is about 17 year old Juliette Ferrars who has a lethal touch. Anything living she touches dies.

Then all of the things happened, why Adam got into the army, and who the Commander is. Oh my lord, of course anyone would hate the Commander, even how handsome he is, he did not have the best approach though in some way he always wanted Juliette to be strong and stand on her own than treats her like a fragile damsel in distress who needs saving all the time. Which Adam did! Never mind he captures J. Puts her in jail to suffer for almost a year, stalk her in jail, tries to force her to do things, makes her believe she killed a child, corners her, wouldnt take no for an answer so she had to shoot him What the novellas do is provide extra insight into the world of Shatter Me. They’re often from a different POV. For instance, Destroy Me, the first novella, is from Warner’s POV. He is the villain of the first novel. Hey,” I say, meeting him across the room. “Hey, hey.” I grip his shoulders, drop to one knee. “What’s going on? Why the tears? What happened?”Seven years later and this is still just as awful as I remembered. This first book is a hot, boiling ass mess and I will never understand the hype of it and why people tote it as the second coming. The writing is just above tolerable but the prose is laughably bad. Terrible, cheesy dialogue, a weak main character in Juliette and to top it off we get the bland bowl of oatmeal that is Adam Kent. *snores* Thank God for the love of my life Warner and my spirit animal Kenji because they made this book. Without them this would’ve been a one star read because I genuinely don’t like it. I will say that the next two books are leaps and bounds better but damn this first one is just a dumpster fire. Juliette’s reign as the Supreme Commander has been a disaster. More than anything she wants to rely on Warner for support and guidance when children of other world leaders show up on her doorstep, but he has been keeping secrets from her that will change everything. As such, the romance in Shatter Me is all very PG-13. There is no smut or explicitly sexual content.

Fracture Me – HarperCollins

On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam’s newly discovered half brother, won’t be that easy. The Reestablishment can’t tolerate a rebellion, and they’ll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about. I was looking forward to some insight into Adams mind and heart, but I was disappointed that his book made him seem as empty and boring as Warner thought he was. Seriously, I couldn't get over how weird and crazy Warner was and then alluva sudden he's all mushy with Juliette and calling her "Love", and I have to say.... their chemistry was.... weird. I dunno, it just wasn't sitting right with me.But do we excuse him for shouting at J. for wanting to bring W. Into the fold and not understanding the trauma Adam went through? Oh no how could he shout at poor defenssless J who needed the blond guy to rescue her!!!! One side effect of this is that throughout the book there are crossed out lines, as if Juliette is writing in a journal and crosses out things she initially wrote, but changed her mind.
