The range finder lights up to reveal LED flashing lights. Additionally, there is a heads-up display that illuminates. The interior is padded, making it fit comfortably on the head. There are also scratches seen around the outside to represent battle scarring. With the release of the new Kenobi series, came the release of a new Darth Vader helmet. Although a helmet had previously been released two different years, this one, released in May of 2022 follows the design of his helmet in the show. When you’re wearing the mask, though, the breathing sound can be a little loud, which makes it hard to hear surrounding sounds.
The helmet also comes with Sounds, but only breathing or just "whoosh~" sounds to it. The helmet makes the infamous breathing sound and injured breathing when it's just the collar piece all by itself. The voice changer does not matter as you could simply just not talk, seeming Vader would do that a lot. The only problem there is is that it could have used the sound when you put the Head-Piece on and in made that "wish~" sound from Revenge of The Sith. The range finder on the outside can be flipped down. When it’s down, it lights up with flashing LED lights. Luke’s visor simulates blaster blasts from enemy ships. Speakers make the sounds of blaster fire as well. So not only does this helmet sound like the battles Luke experienced, but it also looks the part. The white and red helmet is battle-scarred and damaged just as in the movie. Although this one is not yet released in stores, it comes out in February of this year. It comes with sound effects that synchronize with flashing lights. They simulate battle explosions and blaster fire. One of the coolest features with this mask is that when fully assembled, the helmet plays the standard breathing noise that Darth Vader makes but if you remove the dome crown and the face mask, the mask will make a weak, wheezing noise; the same noise Vader makes at the end of the Return of the Jedi.

Each piece is attached with magnets, except for the collar, which requires an extra strap, but it’s easy to put on by yourself. The pieces are quite secure once put on, so there’s no risk of your helmet flying off, but it’s still easy enough to pull off if you need to. You can also remove part of the mouth filter, which makes the mask a lot less stuffy to breathe in, but the tradeoff is that your mouth is visible – slightly less badass.I'm no SW ComiCon Uber geek - rather a somewhat lay fan who has enjoyed the original movies since 1977.
