Almond butter– Usually, nut butters are mixed with other saturated and unnecessary oils. Make sure to sure natural almond butter, where the only ingredient is almonds. In this post I will review all the flavours I’ve tried so far, and I’ll update it as and when I try the new additions!

White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 15-second increments, stirring between intervals until completely glossy and smooth. Pour melted white chocolate on top of the dough and smooth until even. It’s a protein bar, but I can’t think of an actual chocolate bar that tastes as good as this. Chocolate Crunch – 4/10 Like the White Chocolate Salted Peanut, this flavour contains slightly more calories than the earlier bars – 233 calories in this one – and they also contain slightly less protein – 20g compared to 22g in some of the others.

Dark chocolate mint is a classic flavour and hard to mess up. BUT as a previous mint chocolate #hater, I have to say I’m blown away by this bar. The mint flavour doesn’t remind me of toothpaste, mixing well with the dark chocolate and leaving you with a refreshing aftertaste.

Inside, it’s the same classic triple-layer bar we’ve come to know and love from Grenade. The base is soft and slightly chewy – a nice chocolate flavour with a hint of mint.Can I freeze this bark? Yes, it also freezes well for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving. It’s a complete contrast to the likes of Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel or Dark Chocolate Raspberry, but it’s a bit of FUN. Fudged Up – 7/10 All of Grenade’s flavours give regular chocolate bars a run for their money, but the Oreo bar takes it to the next level. If you are like me, that always feel like eating something “ SWEET” after lunch or dinner, this is it. The perfect bars for a sweet tooth. You will be obsessed! I’m impressed once again, but as I said, fudge brownie is a pretty standard flavour. It’s not my favourite of the bars so far, but it’s absolutely worth a try, if not only for a break from your average protein bar. Dark Chocolate Mint – 8/10

As usual, I have nothing bad to say about Grenade’s chocolate. It’s high quality, melts instantly and adds a delightful creaminess. In terms of flavour, the white chocolate is more of a hint, but this is strawberry ice cream, so what did we expect? Oreos are so fun to create recipes with. If you are a lover of Oreos try this Gooey Oreo Brownies, Oreo Fluff Dessert Salad or No Bake Oreo Balls.Cookie Scoop: For more evenly made cookie dough balls, using a cookie scoop will help ensure they are all the same size. Once they are scooped then roll into a ball and place on the baking sheet.

The best part by far is the vanilla creme layer. It’s amazingly close to the real thing and the vanilla sweetness perfectly complements the richness of the cocoa base. I’ve never personally tried this mix as an actual cookie, but if you try it out, let me know how you get on – I’d love to know if it worked!

Prepare for Baking: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking spray. How long will this chocolate bark last? This bark can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. Once again Grenade have delivered another great bar and, to be honest, that’s all there is to say. Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel – 10/10 Lift the whole sheet of Oreo bars out of the pan by grabbing the parchment paper and place on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut 9 square bars. To a large mixing bowl add butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat with electric mixers (or in your stand mixer) until well creamed together, about 3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
