About this deal

Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five. Mamia nappies have been the best for my ds. We have tried most of the well known brands, and found that mamia rarely leak.' We're pretty sure your baby will love the extra feeling of dryness. And as we all know, a happy baby means a happy parent! We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier? We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”

Lucy: They’re a lovely feeling nappy which my baby seems to be comfortable in and no instances of nappy rash wearing them. The wetness indicator isn't as obvious as in other brands. I've only used aldi ones and have no plans to change. They're such good value and don't feel cheap at all. Our hospital used them too.' Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some also come with a disposable or a washable liner which you use to collect your baby’s poo. Read more about choosing reusable nappies. This means the nappies have up to two times faster absorption, designed to leave your new baby feeling fresh and dry. They are also hypoallergenic and have a clever wetness indicator which lets you know when it’s time to pop a new nappy on your baby.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter. Not only will you enjoy a complete bargain (don't we all love getting free stuff!) your baby will be super comfortable thanks to the clever Dry Fast Technology™. Mary: They are easy to use, reliable and it was easy to see the blue line when the nappy was wet. The fit was good and they did not leak even overnight. Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables. Still not sure whether to choose Mamia nappies for your baby? Here's what real mums and dads have to say about Mamia nappies in the Netmums forum:

Lucy: They’re lovely feeling nappies and feel very soft and comfortable for my baby. She seems to be happy wearing them and she doesn’t seem to have a sore bum as they take away the moisture well. The only downside is when she slept for more than 4 hours the nappy had leaked wee out the side Would you recommend this to other parents? Tyler: I wouldn’t change anything if I’m honest. Really happy with the product and 90 per cent of people I know prefer to use this brand. My little one has used the aldi nappies since he was born, they are fab. We very rarely have leaks, they are good value for money, they have nice patterns on and a wetness indicator. I would never buy anything else'

Still need convincing? Aldi Mamia Size 1 newborn nappies are great value for money and cost just 79p for 24 nappies. That works out at a wallet-friendly 3.2p per nappy. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” We're giving away thousands of free nappies, so don't forget to let your friends know about this amazing offer, too!Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.” Lidl claims its Lupilu nappies have magical air tubes with absorbent channels in the core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours (eight hours for the newborn range). They have soft fleece and an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. Its nappy range covers sizes one through to six, with three additional plus sizes. Tyler: One nappy lasts all night for us, no leaks as of yet. The price again is the highlight for the nappy. It’s stretchy and looks comfortable on my son. A cute, simple design (I don’t think nappies need to look fancy).
