In fact, IMHO, there are several songs on Lightdark that may even top the achievements of the afore-mentioned. Recorded in Italy, England and the US throughout 2006 and 2007, 'Lightdark' developed the promise of debut album 'Sol29' and exhibited a stronger group identity, revealing a greater contrast between atmospheric detail and the walls of sound created by the band on stage.

Sol29" is one of my all time favourite recordings and I was counting on something similar, but this one is more ambient and less emotional for me. The Misplay" is another slow moving song with the focus on the vocals this time as synths float along more in the background. The eponymous forthcoming album is the first time he has done something of this nature, and he's loved every minute of making it.Our tastes are veryeclectic – from prog to jazz to classical, to heavy rock, folk, punk, electronica and pop. Having said that, I would say this would have more in common with 'The Whirlwind' album [the band's third, from 2009] than others that we've created. I'm not suggesting that human beings behave like robots, but so many people lead regimented lives and it’s easy to get stuck in a rut and not realise or know how to get out of it. The album's last great song, "Cold Afterall" begins with the sound of rainfall behind which the female voice of a public address system in a train station (or airport) sound.
