About this deal

Friendly Rivalry: Fujino and Kyomoto have elements of it, with both being deeply inspired by the other to improve their art. It's tragically used as the reason Fujino blames herself for Kyomoto's death, feeling like her friendship pushed her to go to art school. Fujimoto was born on October 10, 1992, or 1993, [a] in Nikaho, Akita Prefecture, Japan. [5] He started drawing at an early age. He had no preparatory schools available near his home, so he went to painting classes in which his grandparents attended and practiced oil painting. [8] He graduated in Western painting from Tohoku University of Art and Design in Yamagata, Yamagata Prefecture in 2014. [9] Career [ edit ] I don't how much of this story is inspired by personal experience from Fujimoto. But it sure as hell made me wonder... I don’t care what feelings you experience after finishing it; I just want you to read it. My feelings were all over the place. Since it alternates between creativity and realism, if you read it correctly, the foreshadowing is well-collected, and it’s an engaging story. You can also expect some story twists in there. Whether the entire plot is taken to be fiction from start to finish, whether the movie is seen to be a metafiction that treats the movie work as a manga, or how to interpret the last explosion punch line, in my opinion, will greatly affect how the story is perceived.

So for those who wanted to avoid spoilers I'll say that the story was beautifully written and had many emotional scenes , so if you want to read a one shot ,it definetely worths your timeok first of all, I don't remember when is the last time I got goosebumps this much. and it seems that those of you who are reading this review also don't want to know about my goosebumps records and maybe thinking "wtf is this broken grammar anonymous dude talking about", i hope u guys didn't. Reclusive Artist: invoked A major theme of the story. Kyomoto stopped attending school from a very young age, apparently due to anxiety and agoraphobia, and took up drawing to pass the time. It's also shown how Fujino's dedication to making manga isolates her from her friends and family. After Kyomoto's death, Fujino questions if art ruined their lives, and if her friendship led to Kyomoto's attending art school and being killed. After Kyomoto's death, Fujino goes through a depressive bout and realizes that she actually dislikes drawing manga. When asked why she bothers, a montage answers the question in the form of all the times Kyomoto happily approved of all of Fujino's rough manuscripts. We are the actors who are acting. A story of an avenger who is burning with the flames of rage both on his body and within his heart. A story of a revenger who contrasted the fettle of human lives with the detritus of hope.A dystopian view of a revenge drama that cast a bizarre light on the survival and psychological interest in Shōnen Jump. Fire Punch by Tatsuki Fujimoto is on no 2 on our list.

Not that that’s a bad thing - I’m ok with both, so long as it’s balanced, which it is for the most part - but Fujimoto is a very hands-off storyteller, writing the bare minimum and relying heavily on the imagery to tell his stories for him. It’s laudable - I think that’s the way comics storytelling should be done to some degree - but in the case of the second half of the story, it’s unclear what’s going on or why. It took me a few re-reads to figure out what Fujimoto was doing but I got it, though whether you believe it happened or not is up to the reader. Yes, it’s one of those “impressionistic” endings where you have to figure out for yourself what happened - I don’t dislike those but I know some readers detest them so be warned. And I thought to myself at this point halfway through the book “Holy Shit, what is Fujimoto going to do with this?” And what he does is some of the most impactful visual storytelling I’ve ever read.
