About this deal

Tensioning can be difficult causing difficulty in zipping up doors but maybe it was our inexperience Here you have a typical example of a tunnel tent, with a huge area for 6 people, with 3 separate rooms. These include a large living area plus two sleeping units. A well-ventilated tent will make for a more comfortable, condensation-free camping experience, and well-positioned vent panels and doors with fly screens allow for the free flow of air while keeping bugs out of your sleeping space. 4) Indoor space and flexible sleeping compartments If you have used this product please leave a review, or your comments for other visitors, many thanks! Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is ventilated, tall and pleasant, perhaps a bit more suitable for a cooler climate. The waterproof rating is very good so you are fully protected. I would describe it as a true 3-season tent.

The inner tent is the yellow area in the floor plan picture below. There is also a front porch which offers an area for sitting in the shade. The tent is tunnel shaped and non-freestanding. The floor plan and dimensions. Large lounge (270cm x 380cm) offers a spacious area to spread out with 2 large windows on either side, 1 doubles up as a door. You also have 2 steel poles 1.8 m each and these are used for the side awning; the pole sections are 60 cm. The fabric The tent is not freestanding, so you have to stake it to the ground properly. The inner tent material is what they call a darkened bedroom, so this puts it in the group of dark rest tents.

There is a zippered port for an electric cableand you also have a series of Velcro loops that run from the port to the ceiling so that you can pass a cable for electric lighting or ventilator. Tent footprints are available to buy separately from tents at outdoor retailers. They're essentially an extra groundsheet that you can pitch before your tent, with the aim of pitching your tent on top of it. The bigger part of the tent is a single layer, but the sleeping zone is a tent within the tent so you have a double-layer structure where you need it.

Once the tents are up, we closely inspect the interior of each one and rate them on how likely campers are to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience that meets their needs. You'll want to ensure your tent footprint is the same size as the tent you're pitching – several manufacturers sell footprints specifically to fit certain tent models. This tent is designed for areas with lots of rain, there is no mesh in its structure, the windows are a solid translucent material, so I would not use it in warm areas. This is for a cooler environment. There are currently no images uploaded by members for this Tent. If you have a photo, be the first to upload one. A good rule of thumb is to go for a tent that's claimed to sleep one more person than you need. If you're a family of four, for example, we'd recommend going for a five-person tent.

Not all tents have indoor communal spaces that can house all the campers if the weather turns, and even those that do aren't always large enough for everyone to be comfortable. The main door under the porch is fully protected so you can keep it with mesh all the time. But you still have a panel that rolls up and you fix it above the door. There is also a wide gap between the inner tent canopy and the shell, so this is useful to reduce condensation. We pitch every tent, taking into account how long it takes, how clear the instructions are, how much physical effort is required, and how convenient the process is. There are also tents with inflatable poles. You'll need to pump up each pole individually, so it can take a bit of effort, but you can avoid trying to feed the poles through the tent canvas. Most tents have thin, collapsible poles made from fibreglass. They often fold up into a compact size and are connected by an elastic cord. They're usually flexible and will need to be bent to fit the shape of the tent canvas during pitching. Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 6 people. For this it offers no less than 202 ft² (18.8 m²). This means 33.4 ft² (3.1 m²) per person, so you have a generous space indeed. There are two doors, one is under the porch so it is fully protected from the rain and this is a dry entry point. The other door is on the side.
