About this deal

Legolas Greenleaf was an Elf prince from Mirkwood, the son of King Thranduil. When the One Ring, the weapon of Sauron, was reported to have been found, Legolas was sent to Rivendell as one of the representatives of the Elves at the Council of Elrond. He, along with eight other members of the Council, joined what would be known as The Fellowship of the Ring to protect and aid Frodo on his quest to take the ring to the one place it could be destroyed: the volcano Mount Doom, the birthplace of the ring located in the heart of Sauron's realms, Mordor Laval • Cragger • Eris • Bezar • Plovar • Gorzan • Lagravis • Reegull • Crocodile Tribe Warrior • Beavers • Gorilla Tribe Warrior • Lion Tribe Warrior • Crueler Alfred Pennyworth • Aquaman • Bane • Batman • Brainiac • Commissioner Gordon • Cyborg • General Zod • Green Arrow • Green Lantern • Harley Quinn • LexBot • Lex Luthor • Maggie Sawyer • Jimmy Olsen • Lois Lane • Perry White • Robin • Superman • Supergirl • The Flash • The Joker • Joker Henchman • The Riddler • The Scarecrow • Two-Face • Two-Face Henchman • Wonder Woman

The stubble and beard is well suited to the character’s appearance in the movie. He has a wry smile and a slightly angry look. Again, the older expressions are more aggressive than the new ones. The new Ranger Sword is longer than the old longsword, and has a more detailed mould for the blade, cross piece, handle and pommel! The older figure had tan legs, with a grey tunic. The top end of the Evenstar jewel that was given to Aragorn by Arwen can be seen hanging beneath his shirt. Both of these figures are excellent, but the one included in Rivendell is more appropriate for the setting. The Statues In J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. I 1994, Legolas is a character that can be somewhat controlled, however he is an A.I. character who wanders around the game fighting enemies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once the company reach the Woods of Lothlórien, Galadriel and Celeborn inquire about Gandalf. Only Legolas is able to tell them about the loss, bitterly lamenting their needless trip through Moria. But Galadriel deems that none of Gandalf's deeds were needless, even if the trip through Moria resulted in his demise. The Elven lady later gives gifts to the Fellowship. Legolas receives a new bow of the Galadhrim, which he subsequently uses for the rest of his journey. While travelling down the river, Gimli laments how sorry he is to have left Lothlórien and the beauty of Galadriel. Legolas inquires as to what her gift was for him, to which Gimli confesses "I asked for one hair from her golden head. She gave me three". Legolas is amused, at which point their attitudes begin to soften. The medievalists Stuart D. Lee and Elizabeth Solopova note that Legolas's lament over the stones of the Elvish land of Hollin: "Only I hear the stones lament them: deep they delved us, fair they wrought us, high they builded us; but they are gone," [T 4] recalls the Old English poem The Ruin. [1] Shippey, Tom (2005) [1982]. The Road to Middle-Earth (Thirded.). HarperCollins. p.141. ISBN 978-0261102750. Legolas was voiced by David Collings in the 1981 BBC Radio 4 adaptation. [7] In the 1993 Finnish miniseries Hobitit he was portrayed by Ville Virtanen. [8] Esmerelda, Jade Nicolette (17 February 2017). "Lord Of The Rings: 15 Things You Never Knew About Legolas". The Tolkien critic Paul Kocher writes of the same passage that it shows how Elves such as Legolas have senses keener than mortal Men: he can see further and can even hear the stones lamenting the passing of the Elves. In Kocher's view, Legolas is an "emissary for the Elves", as Gimli is for the dwarves; he suggests that the point Tolkien was making was that Legolas was a typical young elf. [2] This variant appears in 79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders. The only piece the two versions have in common is the part that makes up Legolas's hair and ears. His face is double sided. On one side, he has a neutral, almost somber expression, with the eyes slightly larger than normal and the mouth turned down slightly. His alternate expression sports bared teeth and slanted eyebrows in a snarl. Two creases, one larger than the other, are located in between the brown eyebrows. One of his main recognizable features, the high cheekbones, are also present. There we have all of the figures included in the set. Most of the designated characters offer varying degrees of improvement on a previous figure, although the new Sam and Aragorn figures are more consistent with their appearances at Rivendell, compared to the original versions (Aragorn in the Wild, and Sam as he appeared at Ciruth Ungel). On returning to Edoras, a celebration is held for the recent victory at Helm's Deep. There Legolas is introduced to a drinking game with Gimli which seemingly he has never done before. Nevertheless he holds his liquor very well, going through several pints and still standing, although he mentions "I can feel something... a slight tingle in my fingers. I think it's affecting me". Gimli however passes out, whereupon Legolas wins the game.

They met Prince Imrahil and went to the Houses of Healing, at which he remembered the cries of the gulls at Pelargir and sang a song about his newly kindled sea-longing.
