I would have to say that I do recommend this lawn mower to anyone with a larger-sized garden. However, there might be people who benefit from it more than others. For example, if you want something that simply gets things done and doesn’t have a wealth of options, then this might be a little too complex for you. But if you want something that will easily replicate the power and versatility of a petrol mower, then you’ll likely get on with this very well, thanks to the various mowing options. A superb hand-propelled battery-powered mower with every feature you need to produce a perfect lawn finish. The Mountfield Princess 34 has a 15 metre cable which is a bit longer than average and saves a bit of hassle with extension cords for many. As a safety feature, the blade will stop spinning a few seconds after you release the switch. The rear roller adds stability and will let you create that perfect striped lawn, if you wish.

The only negative I could find with this lawn mower is the design of the grass collection box making it little difficult to assemble. Assembly should be tool free, however this is not the case and a pair of pliers may be needed. Having said that, once the box is assembled this naturally is no longer an issue. Most grass collection boxes will come with either a flap or vision window to see when the box needs to be emptied (some mowers have nothing at all). On the range of Princess mowers, Mountfield have decided to include a vision window on their grass collection boxes. I do prefer vision windows over the flap system, as on some mowers I have tested, the flap does not always work so well where the circulation is poor.The blades on this Mountfield Princess 38 are hardened steel and are designed to provide a sharp cut and the ability to mulch your lawn. The cutting-height variation offers you five positions from 25mm up to 75mm for flexibility; a roller at the rear will produce the smart striped finish you're looking for. A great safety feature of this Princess 34 lawn mower is the safety brake, which means the blade stops rotating within 3 seconds of the operator releasing the switch. This drastically reduces the risks of accidents while you are working. It has enough power to deal with wet or long grass and will cut with precision. It is well priced and really user-friendly. The Mountfield Princess 34 weighs a mere 13kg but has amazing power from the powerful 1400 watt motor. This make it easy to move around the garden. It is a great option for those that find mowing a lawn hard work. The Mountfield Princess 34 makes it a breeze. The Mountfield Princess does have the ability to mulch the grass cuttings as it comes supplied with a mulch plug. This really is a nice touch from Mountfield as most electric mowers do not have a mulching ability and a rear roller.
