About this deal

My favorite scene in the book is when Eliza and Silas are sitting on the floor outside Logan’s pod, and they’re finally admitting that they know the other person via their dreams. Silas shakes his head and looks around, hoping that there’s no one within earshot of the pair of them that might mistake them for friends.

All of a sudden my mouth is wet, too wet, and I try to swallow down the nauseous feeling climbing its way up my throat, but it’s a meager fight. For whatever reason, the thought of Silas and Logan sharing a few drinks is keeping me on some catastrophic edge of anxiety. I read,” Silas starts, waiting for Logan and I to walk through the opening first before following close behind. When several members of the ring soon turn up dead, Billy abruptly pulls Kate out, blowing her cover. Having dreamt about one another for years and not knowing if that perfect person really exists, is not something I've read before. Especially when a book is sold to me as a Star-Crossed lovers, fated mate, romance and then pulls the rug out from under me. It is captivating in such a refreshing way, and as soon as I finished reading I immediately bought a copy.

The author switches between the two time periods effortlessly and easily which doesn’t always happen in these kinds of books. Silas reluctantly picks him up, shrugging Logan’s dead arm over his own shoulder so he can support his weight, then drags my partner toward the door. That was an insult that you didn’t throw around to a Mako, the insinuation of pillaging and taking advantage of a land’s people was one that didn’t go unaddressed. But your life partner, someone you've planned a future with and love deeply, is also standing next to you. They both recognize each other from their dreams and start an emotional relationship, however the fact that Eliza already has a partner makes things a little more turbulent. In this controversial and exciting listen, Pollan explores caffeine’s power as the most-used drug in the world - and the only one we give to children (in soda pop) as a treat. It’s not often I read a book and think, “I’ll never be the same” after reading it, but that’s exactly how I feel after finishing Forget Me Not. This is a gorgeous story about how life doesn’t always work out the way we want it to, but if we’re willing, we can still make it a great life. I dipped down to catch his lips with mine, our tongues sliding together in a quick movement before pulling away.
