About this deal

The Roland EV-5 can work in combination with other manufacturers, including Boss, so mixing and matching your current pedal board should not present a problem. It is conveniently the same width as standard boss effects pedals also. This is handy as it slots right into pedal boards without too much hassle. I. If applicable law prohibits any portion of the limits on liability stated below, the parties agree that such limitation will be automatically modified, but only to the extent required to make the limitation compliant with applicable law. K. Modify or create derivative works based upon the Software, or decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Software, in whole or in part;

Nothing in this EULA affects Your statutory rights if the laws of your state or country do not permit it to do so. Long story short, simply plug your Helix expression to EXP2 of the EV-30, and it will work like a normal volume/exp pedal, very smoothly I must say. N. Create or permit others to create Internet "links" to the Software or "frame" or "mirror" the Software on any other server, wireless or Internet-based device;The pedal comes with a short stereo TRS cable for connecting to other equipment, this is a great idea. It allows you to get playing immediately. The EV-30 doesn’t have to be used as a chaos engine. It’s easy to set up comfortable sweep parameters for one or two effects. There’s also a handy polarity switch so you can use stomps with different expression pedal configurations. But the real fun comes when you abandon the ample potential for control the EV-30 provides and let creative randomness prevail.

Q. Find out more about how we test. A key feature of the EV-30 is an innovative internal mechanism that provides ultra-smooth feel and precise parameter control, delivering performance that rivals full-size pedals. And with two expression outputs, you can save further space by controlling two different devices from a single pedal. The outputs are electronically isolated, eliminating the possibility of noise issues from ground loops.Also I used the FV500-h before. Also like it a lot because its bigger and feels more comfortable. But it has a problem with the sweep linearity that I didn't like. It jitters a bit. I don't know if it's my pedal that has the problem or if it happens with all FV500... Also being bigger was great to play but not great to carry around. The dual outputs are handy and I am still experimenting with how I will use this functionality with the other gear I have. Roland can not reply to inquiries regarding this system software updater. Please read the instructions completely, and please note that you should use the SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Unauthorized copying, uploading to another network, distributing, modifying and/or attaching this software to other media or any other sales item is expressly forbidden. This doesn't mean you can't connect to the EXP1 of the EV-30, but then it's another effect (should be interesting with a Wah _to be tested_ )

I don't recall how mine is setup but I think I did manage to get the same behaviour from the 2 inputs but had to mess with the knobs and the polarity switch.

PROS:

I chose the Boss pedal because it was cheaper, lightweight, small footprint, very well constructed and the same 10k pot as the recommended expression pedals for the helix. I pretty happy with it. a) The SOFTWARE may use open source software and other third party software (herein referred to as "OSS, etc.").
