So you’re left with a conundrum: Buy a storage device that promises to be extremely fast but only in certain circumstances or get one of the many rugged USB 3.2 Gen 2 drives available for significantly less but will work with far more devices. It’s coated and wrapped in a durable silicon rubber coating to help with grip and to better withstand accidental drops and impacts while also protecting it from the elements. The SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD is certainly not a “cheap and easy” storage solution by any means, but I recommend you look at the incredible transfer speeds, and weight up the price per GB for Portable SSDs in general.
