Boxing: Enhance footwork and agility by moving between light pods while tapping them in response to illumination. There are plenty of exercises you can do on your own, but BlazePod is a lot more fun when you're working out with someone else. I recruited my boyfriend to help me test some of the preloaded competitions, and we had a blast. I should note that while many of the single-player activities can be done indoors, you'll need a large, open space for most of the competitions and some of the other drills. My boyfriend and I went to a local park, and in just 30 minutes, we both felt we got a good workout and were dripping in sweat (then again, we live in Florida). When you select an activity, the pods you will need for it begin blinking. The app tells you how to set up the pods, where you should start, and what to do. I really like that the app lets you adjust the activity settings to suit your preferences. You can, for instance, increase or decrease the activity duration, add a player if it's a competitive activity, and assign a color for each person. Most preloaded activities are set at less than a minute, but you can have them run for up to an hour. When you're ready, you can tap Start Now for the activity to begin right away, or Start on Hit for it to start when you hit a pod. In Create, you can make your own activities. You can choose the lighting style that best suits your activity (so the pods will light in a sequence, randomly, all at once, etc), give your activity a name, set the duration and number of players, and more. A toggle on the upper left side of the Discover tab lets you switch between BlazePod's preloaded activities and ones you have created and saved.

When the bootloader is burned to the microcontroller, an FTDI converter can be used to upload the actual Arduino code. At the beginning of my search for the right reaction training lamps, I initially had my eye on the BlazePod. After much hesitation, I then bought 4 BlazePod lights. I was under the impression that it had two sensors. Both touch and motion sensors. But to my disappointment, the BlazePod unfortunately only had a touch function. I also tried out the Reaction X. I found it very cool that they had 4 different sensor functions. Namely soft touch, strong touch, close distance (8-12 cm), far distance (30-40 cm). After a lot of practice I noticed that it is really nice to have different sensors. So that you can do many different types of training by varying the sensors. You can think of countless exercises you can do with reaction training lights. This is mainly due to the many training options that reaction training lights have. Training options Unfortunately, it was sometimes frustrating that the Blazepods registered walking over the beam, which meant that the light went off before you were even close to touching it. For this workout, I was able to set the Reaction X to alternative sensor functions "strong touch" or "motion sensor" and was able to perform the workout with ease. Later, I also did a battle against my girlfriend to see who could touch the most pods. It was fun to train together like that! Most reaction lamps are easy to switch on. Often you only need to turn on your bluetooth connection. Open the corresponding app and switch on the lights with one push of the button.

For those who want to get started with training, and are looking for training lights, there are many different choices. The price ranges from €250 to €3500. Pay attention to how many pods you get and if you get a carrying case and accessories.Furthermore, I noticed with the BlazePod that you sometimes had to hit the pod very hard before it noticed that it was being touched. This meant that I sometimes had to touch the pod several times before it registered. Personally, I find that very frustrating when I'm doing a challenge against a training buddy. I like a challenge and I like to win 😁 What is the advantage of using reaction lights? I wish the app offered videos showing how to do each activity, because sometimes it's hard to figure out based on the written description. For example, for the One-Leg balance, it says to place the pods in a square on the floor, stand in the center, then, "tap out the lit Pod with your raised foot and look for the next Pod to light up." It says to, "repeat until the activity ends without the raised foot touching the ground." I wasn't sure if I was supposed to stay in one place, or if I was allowed to hop around on one leg to tap out the pods. Because two of the pods were behind me, I did hop around, but I wasn't exactly sure if I was doing the exercise right. I myself started with 4 lights. This gave me the opportunity to experience how much fun it was to train with reaction lights. Soon I noticed that I regretted not having chosen for 6 lights immediately. With 6 you can not only do more types of exercises, but also challenge yourself by making it more difficult with different lights and colours. Soccer: Combine light pods with a ball, enhancing reaction time and decision-making during passing drills. Tailor your workout with the Reax optionals such as chargers, Bluetooth connectivity and a WiFi router. SPECIFICATION: Brand

When I train alone, this is one of the most fun training options for me. It is very similar to the "distracting mode", except that you have to pay attention to which colour lights up the least each time. For example, if the light is 3x blue, twice yellow and 1x red, you have to tap the red one. This ensures that you have to think twice during your training. Definitely a must! The method of storage also differs greatly from one supplier to another. You can buy reaction lights separately and often you can get a handy storage case with them. This is very nice because in this case you can take the reaction lights with you wherever you go. It would be a shame if you lose a cable or light after your training. Usually, you cannot buy these separately from the suppliers. In addition, the lamps are extra protected and therefore last longer. Finally, it also looks cool; all those lamps are in a nice sleek case. Conclusion To upload the code first open the sketch for device one I've attached here. Connect an USB FTDI adapter to the serial programming points. Once again, these connections can either be pressed onto the PCB or connected by soldering the pins or female headers that have to be desoldered later.Because of the different functions and colours of lights, reaction lights can be used for many different sports. More places to hang the reaction lamps, useful for training reaction speed. Alternative to reaction training lights The suspension system of the reaction light providers is very variable. For example, the BlazePod cannot be hung up and can only be laid down on the ground. The BlazePod is already very expensive. To be able to hang them up, you have to buy extra accessories for about €15 extra per pod. A wireless LED light system, created to make any workout session interactive, training the responsive ability through visual and sudden stimulations. Flexible, versatile, full of accessories, each light is equipped with magnets for a rapid connection to multiple surfaces. The WiFi tablet controller enables the trainer and the user to choose customized training programs by using Reaxing sudden dynamic interferences, the only technology capable of unpredictably altering the motor gesture. Surprisingly, I really liked the Plank Challenge. You place four pods on the ground in a horizontal line and get into plank position facing them. The pods randomly light up, and you have to tap them out, but alternate hands each time. The first time I did this exercise, I didn't realize I was supposed to alternate hands, and I was able to tap out 19 in 20 seconds. The second time, when I was doing it correctly, my score went down to 14 hits. Competitions

Thanks to this inventive lights system, any kind of training that is intended to work on reaction timing and agility becomes incredibly interactive. The lights are controlled by any portable Android, iOS or Windows device thanks to the wireless router and optional Bluetooth or WiFi capabilities. Other features include: Optional beep sound, wireless range of up to 75M*, and battery life of 8-10 hours (varies depending on usage) First you print the LED ring holder, try and fit it around LED's - NOTE: LED placement is not simetrical so don't use force. Rotate it, and it should easily slide in. Print it with white or transparent material to increase viewing angle. Transparent or milky white will diffuse the light and create a nice ring like effect.

The use of different coloured lights and the position of the satellites allow for the design of training sessions which are suitable for sport preparation and for functional neuromotor recovery in rehabilitation phases. For power requirements, our devices have to be battery powered, which means we have to implement the basics of BMS. https://howtomechatronics.com/tutorials/arduino/how-to-build-an-arduino-wireless-network-with-multiple-nrf24l01-modules/
