About this deal

For the best results take your body measurements either undressed or in lightweight clothing. The tape measure should be kept snug around your body, but not overly tight. Stand up straight and get a friend to help if you’re struggling! While we can dream of mountain biking in perfect sunny weather all the time, the reality is often different. So, the Endura MT500 Spray MTB Trousers are a brilliant choice for all of your mountain biking adventuring when the weather isn’t endless blue skies and sunshine. While they’re nice and light, they’re also durable too, and with four-way stretch front panels, they make manoeuvring your bike effortless too. Hips: Stand with legs approximately six inches apart. Always measure across the widest part to ensure a non restrictive fit.

Whilst only the seat panel of the trouser is waterproof, a DWR treatment has been applied throughout to help water bead and not soak into the shorts. As with all of Endura's DWR treated garments, an environmentally friendly PFC free DWR has been used in line with Endura's commitment to reducing our environmental footprint. The pull-on style has a wide, stretchy yoga-legging style waist band, which hugs the hips and is great news if you’re curvy, and if ordinary trousers have a tendency to gape at the rear on you. A drawstring also means you can tighten and secure it to give a little more secure fit. However, I did find that these trousers had a tendency to pull down a little when riding – a problem we didn’t experience on the similarly designed Shredly MTB Shorts – possibly because of the pull of the fabric when worn over kneepads. If you wish to return your bike to us please keep it in the box it arrived in and call us on 01772 644340 and we will arrange a collection. Our size guides will help you choose the most comfortable size for you. First though, you will need to measure yourself as accurately as possible, we’ve put together some tips to help you get the correct measurement. The short review is that they are pretty awesome. I never get a wet bum, no matter how much spray there is and the DWR coating on the front is only just wearing off after more than a dozen washes. The breathability is as good as it gets and I rarely got too hot in the MT500s. When I did, I could reach for the zip vents on the thighs to lose some heat on the climbs. You should always keep proof of postage and we advise you to use a ‘signed for service’ when returning goods. The waistline is elasticated at the rear and has an adjustable aluminium loop fastening at the front, which can be a touch fiddly. The elasticated waist however, is a comfort godsend, reducing any pressure into your stomach when riding. Long gone are the days of heavy, shapeless motocross pants; modern mountain bike trousers come in a range of technical fabrics to suit different conditions and there are more choices than ever for women. They’re an increasingly popular alternative to shorts, with lots of different options on the market.

Spray Ready ProtectionWhilst only the seat panel of the trouser is waterproof, a DWR treatment has been applied throughout to help water bead and not soak into the shorts. As with all of Endura's DWR treated garments, an environmentally friendly PFC free DWR has been used in line with Endura's commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.. You might expect a more relaxed fit with baggy in the title, but don’t be fooled into thinking these are a shapeless offering – far from it. The waist has a simple zip and popper closure and a very subtle mtb-specific OppoSet waistband that allows you to tweak the waist size to your perfect fit. The only slight downside is length – if you are at the taller end of the scale then it may be a touch short in the leg. Being based in Scotland, Endura should know a thing or two about keeping you warm and dry on the trails. Scott boasts a collection of kit for women serious about the way their bikes and equipment look and perform – and we think they’ve nailed it with these trousers.

For any mountain biker worth their salt, The Athertons need no introduction. And, like us Pacific Northwesterners, the fastest family in mountain biking are no strangers to inclement weather. When your home turf is Dyfi Bike Park on the coast of Wales, you’re guaranteed to encounter your fair share of bone chills and raindrops. Rachel, Dan and Gee all had a hand in developing Endura’s MT500 line of rain gear, and what works for them in Wales should work pretty well for us in the PNW. a) If we have sent you the incorrect bicycle, we will cover the cost of collection and delivery of the correct model. Ben tested Endura’s MT500 Spray Trouser to see if they can stand up to the wettest British winter in years.
