I purchased the Fjallraven High Coast Foldsack recently and have taken it out for first time last week. As we’ve said before, the Foldsack 24 doesn’t retain its shape very well, especially when there’s little to nothing inside. I've used it for day hikes, my bag for uni, and I even fit 4 days of clothes in it for a trip to Greece. With a fold-over top closure that allows you to expand the volume of the main compartment and a spacious front pocket for storing small items can be kept easily accessible the in the Fjallraven High Coast Foldsack with its 24 litre volume is a great size for town and country adventures. Looking at the back panel, it’s also lightly padded and features a mesh lining to help with breathability.

On the outside is a roomy front zipped pocket, two side pockets for water bottles and side compression straps to stabilise the pack's contents.Designed for comfort, this bag features lightly padded shoulder straps and an additional waist and chest strap that makes carrying heavier loads more manageable and secure. Having the ability to adjust the volume of the bag makes for a very versatile pack which can be carrying a waterproof, lunch, towel, water, sunhat and sun cream, etc up a hill one day and carrying but a few small items such as my purse, notepad and tablet comfortably the next without any stress on me or the bag. it fits loads in it but when it's very full it's really hard to put anything in the front pocket, which is my only issue with this bag.Starting from the top, you've got a fold-over design with a zip and a metal hook for added security; this also means that the main compartment can be extended if you require extra space.
