About this deal

I know who I am. i am the one that looks for me. And every single day, I find me again. I find myself in the things I do and the things I notice. I find myself in crowds and in solitude. I find myself in quiet moments and at the top of tall mountains. I find myself in the tips of waves, in forests, and in the books I read. I find myself in leaves and rain and old photos. Every single day, I find me again." When I was 16, I went to Kuala Lumpur for the second time in my entire life and I bought a poetry book called I Wrote This For You: Just the Words

I recognised the author through his previous writing that enticed me, but unfortunately, fell short to entertain me. Sadly I couldn't´finish this copy in time. After half of the book my time run out and I couldn't finish it. I still want to give a review about the half I've read. The collection is about not only learning to love yourself and the things you cannot change but also to forgive yourself. The latter being far more difficult in some circumstances. It's about reaching for kindness and trying to see the world through the eyes of others. Kini ia telah menerbitkan 10 buku dan 2 puisi pendek. I Wrote This For You and Only You, I Wrote This For You: Just the Words, dan I Wrote This For You. Buku Iainnya Every Word You Cannot Say, 25 Love Poems to the NSA, dan Who You Were Before You Were You. First some thoughts, then a widely followed blog, then a successful book, I Wrote This For You is a phenomenon that has touched countless people around the world.

To me, i feel that poetry and proses can only be reviewed to a certain extent. Instead i'll share my favourite pieces in the next few slides. PDF / EPUB File Name: Every_Word_You_Cannot_Say_-_Iain_S_Thomas.pdf, Every_Word_You_Cannot_Say_-_Iain_S_Thomas.epub I never really enjoyed poetry, except for a few rare poems, until I read "Every Word You Cannot Say". I think this is due to the fact that it doesn't really feel like poetry. Instead it felt like someone was talking to me, reassuring me, telling me that it's okay to be myself and that it's okay to be sad from time to time.

This just puts into word every feeling, every thought, every emotion I have never even knew I still carry inside me. I loved every second of listening to this, even the tears I shed. Categories This book felt so new, and so fresh and different, somehow, from the other ones, despite still creating a warm and homely feeling in me as I read it, exactly like all the others had. I loved that, that kind of feeling from these books and these poems in particular, I always believe that that is irreplaceable – after all, I haven’t experienced it anywhere else or with any other author. I loved that there was playing with form, structure, even colour of the text. The drawings peppered throughout were lovely, and always in the right places. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who’s been through a hardship. Who has ever been uncomfortable being in their own skin. You cannot fix me because I am not broken. And even though everything has changed, I am still more than I've ever been.Never apologize for how you feel. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn’t apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn’t say sorry for falling. Feelings just are” And the silence. Sometimes I can’t talk; I physically can’t make words come out of my mouth so the part about silence that was inside me, silence that I couldn’t shake. Raw, real and vulnerable. Iain S. Thomas still has that magic with words, making you feel that you are human and you have emotions. This book was more than the sum of its parts, and I was here for all of it. I don't really have a review for this other than that it was nice. Some poems were especially deep and very relatable.

I love the book. I knew I would. Siân Thomas book central avenue publishing every word you cannot say iain thomas poems poetry Review Sian Thomas Isinya rangkaian kata-kata yang mewakili perasaan kebanyakan orang tentang cinta, optimisme, harapan, dan konfigurasi batin lainnya. Formatnya mirip puisi, tetapi menurut saya bukan. I have struggled my whole life. From abuse from my peers, to emotional neglect, to mental health issues, to trauma inflicted on my person. I am someone who's been keeping themself together with a frayed rope, praying every day that it'll hold out a little longer. And I bury it. I bury it deep. I live in what you could call a self-imposed silence. When the world hurts me, when I am wounded, I say nothing at all. So I compartmentalize. I put it away. I deal when I am ready to deal. Sometimes, that day comes. Most of the time it doesn't. What's beautiful is the meanings I attributed might be different with another pair of eyes. But as it is said in Every Word You Cannot Say, we are all Here and we all matter. There universe has a song for all of us and I look forward to reading more by Iain S. Thomas.

This poetry collection was everything I didn't know I needed. Typically, I don't read a lot of male poets, not because they are not brilliant, I just don't relate strongly to a lot of the thematic and personal elements that, in my opinion, make poetry so enjoyable. But, I saw this particular book on Netgalley and was in the mood for something poetic. This work seems to have a theme of finding yourself, accepting who you are, and not being afraid to open yourself to the world. Getting hurt is part of life, messing up is part of life, wanting to be alone at times is part of life; but so is being there when it's important, being brave even when you think you're not, trying again and again and again each day, and being open to all the joys and good the world holds.
