I love/like 55 tracks and like/don't mind 8 - 63 tracks and not a NAFF one amongst them, so brilliant!

Despite the popularity of the Now albums, rock compilations have been an area of neglect by record companies.My wife asked me to get her this as she much the same as I was born with a brain, and then through life learnt to read, so was able to discover what tracks were on the CD before she decided she wanted it.

This in my opinion is a fantastic album and is the only spin off Now album i have, now i have read most the reviews on here and a lot of people are criticising it for not having enough rock or worse no rock at all, i do agree with them in a way as a lot of them are a lot more Indie pop then rock. featuring 31 tracks, this comp includes some of the biggest hits of 1988, including memorable favourites from many artists that defined the UK charts in the late 80s.Also included are ELP, ELO, U2, ZZ Top, Golden Earring, Survivor, Blue Oyster Cult, The Who, The Rolling Stones and Journey. Immerse yourself in a truly eclectic mix of rock from the 60s-90s - smashes from The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Europe, Lenny Kravitz, Slade and the incredible collaboration between Run-D. James Christopher Monger of AllMusic notes the "wide range of rock subgenres" represented in this compilation.
