About this deal

The dry down reveals some slight powderiness and sweetness, but I can't distinguish iris and orris or vanilla and praline, respectively.

It is a little similar to Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire, but the latter is more cherry-forward, less interesting and less refined than Lolita. discontinued bottle at a local pharmacy; the colour of the box was faded away by sunlight and (since 2016 date of manufacture) this gem apparently got invisible to the people until I saw it. Two weeks later I replaced the perfume and to my astonishment it was stolen again in my office along with money from my wallet. I like it more than I do the line of LPRN x Guerlain, which is more of a soapy cherry with a bright freshness to it. Also, the service is great, the deliveries are fast, and I love the samples, that they have this detail for every purchase. The base notes form the foundation of the fragrance, rounds off the smell experience and gives the fragrance a certain degree of depth. i can see how the powderiness, which reminds me a little of vintage velvet, might be a dealbreaker for some. On that occasion she published a book celebrating 20 years of design (« Lolita Lempicka : 20 ans de création"). This scent is UNIQUE it has an earthy note , like a dirty soil note in it, its powdery, a little bit sweet and just magical. As a guy I rarely go for fragrances that are marketed as feminine, but I maintain that most sweet feminines double as masculines for guys who aren't afraid to get a little slutty with it.

I resprayed around 3:30, before my husband and I left for an outdoor music festival ( in low 90 temps) and I still smell it on my skin today at noon and it’s definitely still going strong on the shirt I wore last night! Lolita Lempicka definitely belongs in the discussion about fragrances that smell like lipstick and other cosmetics from the huge iris to the vanillic-violet-cherry powder dusting that it becomes.Annick Ménardo really succeeded in creating a balanced, cohesive, well-thought-out gourmand that manages to avoid the "everything but the kitchen sink" approach that so many gourmands fall victim to.

In my opinion you need to love these kind of sweet anise fragrances otherwise it gets cloying, fast due to the strong projection and heaviness. Lolita Lempicka is the perfume of the elves of the Nordic forests, those humid and shady forests that are full of streams and trees full of ivy. Not only does it smell good, it lasts a long time on clothes and on the skin (although I prefer clothes for the sake of alcohol allergy) but it is also vegan (like the whole of the designer's perfumes) and this is a very important thing for me.

The fragrance was introduced at a time when Thierry Mugler's Angel had focused consumers' attention on gourmand scents. Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. Strong resemblance to the original Lutece, but I can’t say why because the licorice and star anise are not shared notes and are so often mentioned as why people who love LL love it. I can see how this was once a magical and whimsical creation, but the notes of woods and ivy are completely lost in the new formulations. I couldn’t accuse the young woman , although I knew she had taken the perfume (the next morning she came to work wearing it).
