This book full of poems and love made me feel so seen, it made figure out feelings that I able to figure out myself. Ben shares his life struggles and the way he copes and progresses with these situations are simply admiring.I bought it when it came out, and I always go back to it when I’m feeling alone or confused during my journey. From the crushing pain of loss to the elation of new love to the struggle of forging your own path, the messages in this book are ubiquitous, but also distinctly personal to the reader. Ben's first book of poetry, ‘Intoxicated Heart’, was released in 2019 and his sophomore effort, 'Feeling This Way', was published in June 2022. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I cried a couple times, but I’m so glad someone (Ben) was able to put into words what I wasn’t able discover or reason myself.
