For all of its spring effulgence, the florals are extended into the base by a civet that is ever so subtle but present enough so that Cabotine is not resolutely clean, almost imparting a certain buttery impression into its dry down. But I’m coming out and admitting that I love Cabotine. Even in the face of LT’s review in The Guide, which gives it 1 star and a 2 word sum-up of “nasty floral.” Cabotine by Grès is a floral fragrance for women. Because of its scent notes, it is intended for Spring and summer use, both for day and night use. This perfume has strength and good fixation, so a few sprays are sufficient to be scented all day. This fragrance is recommended for women between 20 and 60 years old, a wide age range, characterized by a youthful and bold spirit.
