About this deal

Four new 40k Boarding Patrol boxes have been revealed by GW, this time for Adeptus Mechanicus, Daemons, Genestealer Cults , and Death Guard! Bloated with corruption and sworn to Grandfather Nurgle’s service, the disgusting, rotted bodies of the Death Guard stink of decay, the joints of their armour dribbling putrescent slime that corrodes metal and burns flesh. These horrific disfigurements only enhance their skill as killers – each of Mortarion’s sons is a fearsome warrior who brings death and infection wherever they tread. To discover any foe lurking within a space hulk is a worrying thought, but the Death Guard’s presence is the stuff of nightmares. With the caveat that to actually save money with these boxes, you have to need every model in the box (which I think will hurt the Grey Knights because of Castellan Crowe–if you want him, you probably already have him.), all of these Boarding Patrol boxes are very good value. This versatile box provides bodies, ballistics, and big-hitters for you to join the eternal quest to uncover archeotech and fragments of holy STC from the ancient Arks of Omen. The only problem? Everyone else wants in on the action, and now the whole galaxy is boarding the Arks of Omen in search of glory, treasure, or just a big punch-up. In fact, four more Boarding Patrol boxes are preparing for launch in the near future – and only one of them might be said to have the Emperor’s best interests at heart…

These dynamic new sculpts of Faramir, Madril, and Damrod, Rangers of Ithilien were first found in the incredible The Lord of the Rings™ Battle of Osgiliath boxed set. These versatile and mighty heroes are now available together in their own box, each with a choice of ruins or wooded scenery for their base. Gothmog™, Lieutenant of Sauron™ All models are supplied with their appropriate bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. For a closer look at the Wrath of The Soul Forge King, join the Hang Out and Paint team, which will go live on the Warhammer Twitch channel on Friday. They’ll also be chatting about the next stage of 2023’s Armies on Parade, which is themed around Supreme Command. Lead your invasion with the Lord of Virulence, clad in his warped Terminator armor, as he reduces whole corridors of enemies to a foul sludge with his twin plague spewer and plague claw. As he advances, he's guarded by three silent Deathshroud Bodyguard – brutal elites wearing Terminator armor and armed with sweeping scythes and vile plaguespurt gauntlets. In their wake follow 10 Plague Marines, toughened and festering warriors with an array of contaminated wargear suited to both melee and close firefights.

If you missed it, we look at the latest pricing and values of the new Warhammer 40k box sets in separate posts below: Represent your chosen steeds in battle – be they Noble or Fallen – with one of these sets of 15 dice. Both feature a helmed icon on the 6 face, and Imperial Knights get a two-tone blue dice with silvery pips, while the Chaos Knights get a two-tone red dice with golden pips.

The Aeldari, a latecomer, is currently ranking as the best at 202%. Sad it was released the same day as the 148% Drukhari. Genestealer Cults propagate across the galaxy by stowing away in transport vessels and settling in for the long haul, or forcefully commandeering ships. This skilled insurgent team is made up of a Kelemorph, an Abominant, five Aberrants, and 10 Acolyte Hybrids – who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs. Updated 40k Boarding Patrol Boxes: What’s the Value?

Finally, a box without a ton of Poxwalkers! This box is pretty solid as you get a lot of troops but not a giant number of models overall. Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard provides a relentlessly tough force of Death Guard infantry, perfectly suited to gunning down and cutting up foes in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually. Bring even bigger guns to bear in the Age of Darkness with the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank. Designed to suit the battleplans of Perturabo himself, this modified Land Raider sports a frankly massive dreadhammer siege cannon that can reduce buildings to rubble and flatten whole squads.
