About this deal

My son really 'gets' the message and as an animal lover he is determined that he is going to save the animals.

The Journey Home by David Clark, Teresa von - Waterstones

Within his autobiography, Radhanth Swami is seeming to weave a colorful tapestry of adventure, mysticism and love. This book is a unique presentation of deep spiritual understanding fused within an action packed adventure. One group of second-generation members made the trip together with their survivor or former refugee parents. Although I know the Himalayas is full of mysteries, it was nice to know it from the pen of an American. It can be used to encourage children to take an active part in protecting the environment in PSHCE lessons.

I realize that many would advice me to keep my own heart and quest clear instead of deriding any sect but for now my impression of Iskcon is based on my experience of it. Children might like join in with some of the story – eg what the animals say (it doesn’t matter if their words do not exactly match those in the book).A number of second-generation members journey to their parents’ former homes to participate in a memorial ceremony, affix a plaque or a memorial stone to a building or a sidewalk. Answer 11 simple questions and see which events of your past still compromises your life today and what you can do about it. Get off my train', might be interesting to use both books alongside each other and compare the ideas. Together with an introduction and epilogue, the book provides not only examples of the lived experience of being «second generation» but also offers some theoretical background to the stories and relates them to current and important themes, such as the role of acknowledgement, memorialization and commemoration.

The Journey Home: Finding my voice and taking my power back The Journey Home: Finding my voice and taking my power back

The book is about a small polar bear who is looking for a new home because the ice is melting away where he lives and there is no food. The Journey Intensive gives you a powerful experience of the work and a set of skills that you can take with you and use in all areas of your life. After this book I found a lot of information about Radhanath Swami, watched some videos with him and got really amazed by his activity in India and his teachings. And the tale itself heavy and damp with doom and sorrow and man's awfulness to man, told from the point of view of an ordinary, conflicted by circumstances man but in a way which becomes increasingly compulsive. I'd never heard of Dermot Bolger, bought this because of the cover (and being in a blue book mode) plus I've learnt that the Irish way of writing is rarely to be refused.
