About this deal

Después de dar vueltas por diferentes marcas, he vuelto a WD (Western Digital), que siempre me ha dado un resultado excelente y que francamente no entiendo por qué decidí cambiar en un momento dado. Validity : Extended Warranty will start after the Brand warranty ends & continues for 1 or 2 years as per plan. Plans valid only for products with a maximum of 2 years brand warranty. Products with more than 2 years brand warranty are not eligible. What's covered : The plan covers all defects & electric malfunctions as covered under the original Brand warranty. Rebuilding - The drive is the target disk of the rebuild operation and that operation is still in progress No matter what you want from the best external hard drive, the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD delivers it. Insufficient Capacity - The drive installed has insufficient capacity to be part of the mirrored RAID array

Os cuento mi experiencia tras año y medio de uso: In a timeline where people prefer to keep large chunks of data in their pc/laptop and instead just buy a new internal SSD for same price, of course buying this in 2021 wouldn't make any sense however it gives me that extra boost of data that I don't really need on my laptop but I don't really want to delete either. Also, if using with a Toshiba TV, it can be hard to find how to access it - that's the fault of the TV software, not the hard drive. (We found the setting hidden under 'Home button' > 'settings' > 'recordings').

Do you care more about speed, capacity, or price? If it’s the first, SSDs store data in flash memory rather than on spinning platters the way traditional hard drives do and thus operate a whole lot faster. The interface can also make a difference; Thunderbolt 3 will be a lot faster than USB, for example.Other than that, I unplug it in one go after safely removing the hard drive from pc taskbar to avoid disk read failures or any other problems.
