It went from intense slow burn, with so much longing, teasing, and soulful heart to an amazingly sexy and scorching hot romance. She hopes to someday write from a sailboat, oceanfront condo, or tropical island with reliable Wi-Fi.

You’re just what I’ve been looking for in an author all my reading life – I’m 79 and love, love, love your writing style. I would have enjoyed it more if you had dropped fewer f-bombs, but I can’t tell you how happy I am to have received the book on book bub. Online it appears there is a second book in this series. When will it be available? Reply Before I do that & say anything about this book, Forever Never, let me preface the following by saying I still view Lucy Score as a very talented writer and I still have every intention of reading more of her books. Until proven otherwise, I have a feeling there’s a good possibility Forever Never is just an anomaly. Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like she was trying something here & it just didn’t work…at least for me. I’m most certainly not trying to dissuade anyone from the rest of her books. My previous LS reads were some of the better reads I’ve had this year.

So if you’re into friends/enemies to lovers with some suspense and humor then Forever Never is the book for you. Not into the romantic partner musical chairs. Yes, there are exceptions once in awhile, but here’s a big ol’ NOPE. The book was way too crappy for me to bother listing everything that was wrong with it, so let me just give you some precious quotes that sum it all up: I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling.

Two childhood friends. Two broken hearts. One impromptu road trip to get away from everything. That’s all this was supposed to be. Afterall, I’ve been living in the friend zone for years now. At the end we have 4 people who are very close to each other, in an almost incesty vibe - as one happy family.
