There's no wireless control, rumble or motion controls but on all the games I've tried that use rumble and motion controls, the right hand joycon makes up for that on it's own anyway. They mention that the d-pad is of high quality, better than that found on the original, and that it is a fabulous product. Games which need camera function and HD motor vibration function can't be played normally, such as Baby, Ball Count, Eating Contest etc.

Games like Street Fighter Anniversary Collection are next to unplayable with the default joy-con and make these type of games fairly pointless when the Switch is handheld mode.
