About this deal

Compared to other ineffective units, Seville provides products that offer remote storage space and fans which take up minimal floor space. Truly, they are a storage solution suitable for most consumers. Features of the Seville Ultra Slimline Tilt Tower Fan Timers are great for when you want to turn a fan on before going to bed, or before leaving your house. A turn-off timer will allow you to set a specific time for when your fan will turn off, whereas a turn-on timer will allow you to pre-program the time that your fan turns on - this can be great for when you want your house to be nice and cool when you return from work or from a grocery run. How much do the best tower fans cost? For this 2021 update, we tested the Vornado – OSCR32, a 32-inch-tall tower fan that impressed us with its cooling power and whisper-quiet operation. The Vornado is sleek and attractive with its smart chrome adornment that also serves as a carrying handle. Its base sits flat on the ground and has a small footprint, so the Vornado can be unobtrusive in any size room.

Tower fans: Tower fans are narrow, and save a lot of space. Although they are not as strong as pedestal fans, they still create a strong air-flow in the room and are very quiet. These fans usually come with a wide range of features that increase functionality. They offer a wide range of coverage, often providing a whole room with a circulation of air. Tower fans are more decorative than pedestal fans, and they often give a room a nice piece of flair or a talking point. They are usually a lot quieter than pedestal fans as well.

Honeywell – HYF290B

A tower fan's cooling power doesn't just rely on its size—its array of speed settings makes a major difference. Most often, a wider range of speeds makes for a more versatile machine. You can use a tower fan simply to create white noise, add a gentle breeze, or noticeably cool an entire room. Our best for large rooms option, the Dyson Pure Cool Purifying Fan has 10 settings, and even functions as an air purifier. A fan with fewer speeds might not provide you with the same options but offers simple air circulation, like the Lasko Wind Curve Tower Fan, which has three settings. Seville offers a wide range of ultra slimline tower fan models, including oscillating, and non-oscillating versions. However, the oscillation and tilt features are really what sets this fan apart. Touch & Remote Control: The tower fan’s LED display makes information easily visible while the remote control allows you to adjust settings and cool down without getting up The only poor performer was really the Lasko: it had significantly less movement and didn’t have the range capable of covering a portion of a large room, at an underwhelming 70 degrees of oscillation. The fan is easy to assemble out of the box; you only need to attach the base using four screws. The fan can be difficult to clean, but not more so than the average tower fan. It is a little more expensive than most tower fans, but the long warranty helps make it a better value for the money.

Seville Classics also pride themselves on the user experience, offering customers a five year warranty on their slimline fan range.

Dyson – AM07 (discontinued)

Using less KWh units of power can also make the Seville Classics ultraslimline have a cheaper long term cost, and a lower cost per hour compared to other expensive models. Downside of a Seville Tilt Tower Fan We are big fans of this fan. We have used it almost continuously at home for over six months, primarily in the fan mode. Although it is very tall, we have never noted it falling over, even while being used in a small room, or a busy open-concept living room with dogs and kids running through. It simply wobbles and then stops. Although it is not the best option as a portable fan, it's easy to carry at the top when needed, thanks to the build in groove for your hand. It's very powerful in a small space (almost too powerful if very close to you), but comes in handy when needed. We continue to appreciate that it's quiet enough to leave on all day, circulates the air, and cools even larger spaces. We will note that we've used the heater function in the winter and it does work great and keeps small spaces feeling cozy. However, just the bottom of the unit is actually the heater, so it feels a bit bulky when only used to heat the space. It's a great combination heater option though, especially if want to leave it out year-round and need the occasional heat.

We think the above metrics are by far the most important things when considering a tower fan, but they aren’t the only ones. Many of the tower fans have other characteristics that might be attractive to you. Finally, since these fans might run all night, it’s worth considering their energy impact, both on the environment and your utility bill. Using a Kill a Watt Energy Usage monitor, we measured the energy impact of each. Seville showed that with power came noise. However, the noise levels weren’t anything unusual or excessive, and each unit stayed comfortably within similar audible — but not disruptive — sound ranges.Next, we measured noise levels on their highest speed settings. After testing the best portable air conditioners, we were cautious of the impact noise can have on comfort. The fan itself performed decently, but it was far from the most powerful fan we tested. Still, it will do a good job of circulating air in a small to medium-sized room. Holmes has good support options if you have problems or questions and the three-year warranty is one of the best we saw.
