About this deal

How many times did you change your vision or goals in life? And how many of those times, the reason for your surrender was fear? Succumbing to fear means giving up on oneself and not tapping into our potential. Though Weiss, like many scientists, is a natural skeptic, his experience with this patient convinced him that reincarnation is real, human souls are eternal, and there are spiritual “Masters” providing help and guidance from beyond the veil. Our Many Lives Many Masters review examines the book’s claims. Could Catherine’s Story Be a Case of Cryptomnesia? Jeanne Avery author of Astrology and Your Past Lives A profoundly moving account of one man's unexpected spiritual awakening. This significantly courageous book has opened the door to a marriage between science and metaphysics. Must reading for a soul-searching, hungry world. We also must learn not to just go to those people whose vibrations are the same as ours. It is normal to feel drawn to somebody who is on the same level that you are. But this is wrong. You must also go to those people whose vibrations are wrong … with yours. This is the importance … in helping … these people.” However, to Weiss’s credit, these causes are unlikely to fully explain Catherine’s experiences, since the hallucinations caused by depression tend to be brief, and Catherine’s visions often lasted over an hour. Furthermore, hallucinations caused by anxiety are more likely to be auditory than visual, and Catherine’s past-life memories focused on visual information. Therefore, while Weiss didn’t consider Catherine’s anxiety and depression as possible explanations for her experience, they’re still unlikely to be the root causes. The Aftermath

I doubt it. He is in currently on tour, he'll be in Los Angeles October 25th, perhaps you should ask him yourself? The events & experiences recounted in this book are incommunicable, and if communicated, are unbelievable. A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss M.D. is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Our body is just a vehicle for us while we're here. It is our soul and our spirit that last forever.” The experience of death is not uncommon in Catherine's hypnotic state, and it remains the same always, as it should. It has been described rather conveniently, with the soul descending up in bright light. A luminous floating soul is the most convenient image Dr. Weiss could have conjured up. Some people have faith in science. When someone says something contrary to or that misrepresents your faith, you might feel compelled to point that out. And because you believe in science and logic, you present it in a systematic fashion.

You must eradicate the fears from their minds. It is a waste of energy when fear is present. It stifles them from fulfilling what they were sent here to fulfill: Take your cues from your surroundings. – Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss, M.D. For example, why not release the recordings of the sessions with the patient? Or at least, prove that the patient really existed? How are we to know that this wasn’t simply a work of fiction? It’s impossible to tell from what has been written. It could have all been made up, only first names have been used. Dr Weiss made no attempts to verify the astounding claims made by his patient, Catherine. Through Time into Healing: Discovering the Power of Regression Therapy to Erase Trauma and Transform Mind, Body and Relationships (1993) ISBN 0-7499-1835-7 In this time and age, when everyone has set an acceptable age for every decision in life, Dr. Brian Weiss urges the readers to exercise patience. The universe does not move as per our eagerness ; On the contrary, it offers solutions, problems, events, and whatnot at just the right moment. So, instead of rushing through the life and waiting for a particular time, Many Lives, Many Masters insists on living a balanced life. This was an interesting one and a fast read. It kept me up late two nights in a row! You know, you have to read these things with an open mind, but also with a critical one. You can't just completely accept or reject what he has to say. His and Catherine's experiences about past lives are truly fascinating, and no matter how you feel about reincarnation, the lessons from the Masters about how to live are quite universal. In the end, it all comes down to love, patience, and forgiveness. In 1981, the course of Dr. Brian Weiss’s career changed dramatically when one of his therapy patients, “Catherine,” suddenly recalled details of her past lives while under hypnosis. Weiss wrote about his experience with Catherine in his book Many Lives Many Masters. In the decades since the book’s publication, many have grappled with its claims.

This was a nonsensical statement for Dr Weiss to write, as if giving credence to the idea that there was documentary evidence to support any of the other past lives described by Catherine. In fact, Dr Weiss did not provide any documentary evidence at all in his book to support any of the pasts lives described by Catherine. As Dr. Weiss delves into the depths of Catherine's subconscious, he uncovers numerous intricate details about her past lives, spanning across different eras, cultures, and geographic locations. Through these regressive sessions, Catherine's phobias and fears significantly diminish, as she confronts the root causes of her emotional and physical ailments from previous incarnations. did anyone of you think that some one or a group of some people just shut them up and erased all evidence about this therapy and Catherine to have all of us just guess and argue about this book ?

People do love such stories and even I do. We all want to believe and often forgive or overlook small or big details ... How likely is it that Catherine was describing an actual past-life experience? Let’s evaluate the evidence. Jake, can you please re-post your criticisms of my book review but without quoting most of my review again in the comments section, because it was taking up so much space. Your criticisms are welcome and important for people to read, but there doesn’t seem to be much point in repeating most of what I’ve written in the comments section. Thank you.
