About this deal

Fortnite fans will finally be able to buy Joy-Cons that match their favorite game, Nintendo and Epic announced today. The Fortnite-themed Nintendo Switch controllers — featuring a blue and yellow color scheme, with a banana face around the home button on the yellow side — will launch on June 4. Games come to life through easy-to-use motion controls and HD rumble—advanced vibration features built into each Joy‑Con. Depending on the game, you might use a single Joy‑Con in each hand—or even give the second one to a friend. I wonder how easy it is to strip the printed elements off these? I quite like the colours but don't play Fortnite. The pair of controllers are in the same color combination that accompanied last year's limited-edition Fortnite Wildcat Nintendo Switch (sold out, unfortunately), but the colors are reversed. In this stand-alone set, the left Joy-Con is blue and the right one is yellow. Honestly, Joy-Cons are a huge missed opportunity. Both themed paint jobs and different buttons like we saw in the concepts (SNES buttons + colours!) just after the Switch was announced would sell like hot cakes.

P.S. I just thought of a cool feature. Home menu themes that change appearance based on what controllers you have attached. Since Switch can already detect models/colours. I have the standard neon ones and the left Joy Con died on me while I was on vacation in Tokyo. That gave me a good excuse to buy the red ones, as I am in Europe and as the article says they are not sold separately here. Oct 1, 2023 | 10:36 AM EDT Koodo sends text to Greater Toronto Area customers about TTC subway coverage I got grey on my console and the neon yellow for my secondary joycon controller (AKA TV controller). I love them setup like that, the grey gives the console a more complete and mature look and feel IMO and the neon joycons just look nice on their own. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you.

I’m all set on the Joy Con front, but still regret not buying a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Pro Controller. The cheap Joy-Con alternatives below offer compatibility with the Nintendo Switch system only. You might not find as substantial an HD rumble system or even motion controls with these gamepads, and buttons and trigger resistance may be a little spongier when you're spending less cash. Easier to say the official ones I am missing, I've also got all the Hori dpad units (I will never touch that Nyko rubbish) Had to send my Switch in for a repair (overheating, fan sounded like a motorcycle) so I sent my left joycon with it, I'm sure it'll be fine after that.

Sep 3, 2023 | 2:00 PM EDT Hisense’s U78KM is a compelling home entertainment option plagued with OS issues The "you don't have to spend money on the game" excuse is the oldest excuse in the book defending this practice. Features a uniquely designed blue Joy-Con (L) and a yellow Joy-Con (R) emblazoned with Fortnite imagery inspired by the game’s character, Peely Wait, there are mirrored green & pink joy cons (going from the playasia link) or is this just concept art.... You can progress in Fortnight without spending money fairly easily. It’s not an excuse anymore than any rationale for any question of why is. I don’t spend money on Fortnight and don’t allow my kids to, and they do just fine.
