About this deal

We have known Opove for a while now. They initially just cloned Hypervolts and branded them. Their clones were cheaper compared to the main Hypervolts. Apart from the attachments we found the instructions pamphlet which we thought was good because of the clear language used. For percussions, Achedaway Pro has more compared to Theragun Pro. We often don’t associate high amplitude with more percussions. Achedaway sought to break that barrier. If your massage gun is blinking red while charging, it could mean that the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. But note, for massage guns with non-removable batteries, you may not be able to replace the battery. The device is also pretty large and heavy, which could make it difficult to maneuver if you’re doing it by yourself. M y wife has noted that the big bulky unit can be hard to handle with her smaller hands.

Other features worth mentioning for this gun include great ergonomics; the angled handle helps to reduce wrist fatigue (our photos demonstrate this). However, we have benchmark devices that we use to measure; Ekrin B37 and Theragun Pro. We are 100% certain of the stall force in these devices. Brands approach this aspect differently. Some opt to make it long. We call such devices “ high amplitude devices.” These tend to have a 14-16mm amplitude (16mm is the highest a massage gun can have). Why examine these 3 together? One, because each parameter impacts the other in some way and affects the overall performance of a massage gun.The addsfit MINI is a smaller alternative that’s easy to carry around and easy to hold in difficult to reach places like your shoulders. Get one here Unlike some of the competitors, the M3 Pro comes with a good range of attachments. Generally, the pointy attachments dig deeper and the larger ones cover a bigger surface area. I particularly liked the ‘golf ball’ for showing my ITB who is the boss. For once I am winning that particularly painful battle.

The main difference however, is that the two devices are built for different purposes. The older M3 Pro being inspired by the first Hypervolt, was a vibrational therapy device because of the smaller amplitude and a weaker stall force. The new device is percussive and goes after the new Hypervolt 2 Pro (and its predecessor, Hypervolt Plus). The Opove M3 Pro Max is on the pricier side, but remember you're paying for that powerful deep amplitude. We will have to wait to see how it holds up in the long run, but if it’s anything life the M3 Pro, it should provide years of service without falling apart. The device felt lightweight and easy to maneuver, according to our tester, who was also impressed with how quiet it is. Plus, this massage gun comes with a carrying case and long-lasting battery life, so you can take it on the go.
