About this deal

When I arrive in the morning, the temperature in my office is anywhere between zero to five degrees. I turn on my RugBuddy and my oil filled radiator. After 45 minutes the air is at 20 degrees. I turn the radiator off and leave my RugBuddy on for the rest of the day, as that is all I need. This is not only a cost effective way to heat my garden office but it is great to be able to sit at my desk and warm my feet! RugBuddy comes with a standard 3-pin UK moulded plug on 2.5m long power cord. (For a 2-pin Euro plug RugBuddy please go here.) You can save money too. Using a RugBuddy often means you can turn down, or even turn off, your central heating. The heating wires are then connected to your mains supply. The system will also include a sensor to help regulate the temperature. You can then use a thermostat to control the temperature and pre-set the system to turn on or off.

RugBuddy is a Personal Workspace Heater and your RugBuddy will soon become the best bit of office equipment you’ve ever bought! The running costs for underfloor heating systems will vary considerably, as they are impacted by factors such as: RugBuddy has multiple uses. Yoga studios love RugBuddy under rug heaters because they creates the warmth your body needs to adequately stretch and move. Place a RugBuddy beneath a yoga mat for truly unique workout experience. Pets love RugBuddy because it offers a safe and cozy spot for naps. Is your office cold and uncomfortable? RugBuddy can help there as well. Thanks to RugBuddy's durability, furniture and rolling office chairs will cause no harm to the unit. Programmable thermostats - these allow you to select when you want the underfloor heating to turn on and off, and the temperature you want it at (you may want different temperatures for different times of day, for example). For example, when you use a RugBuddy electric heater for local area heating, you may find you can comfortably turn down your central heating thermostat by up to 3 degrees. This means you will save on heating bills while also cutting down on draughts caused by hot radiators. One of the main reasons people buy area rugs is to keep their feet warm. Nobody wants to step out of bed and directly onto cold hardwood. The same is true for walking around in any room, or any solid flooring surface. A rug just doesn’t feel as cold underfoot as solid materials. This is normally effective, but what if your floors are truly frigid? Comfortable, convenient and easy to use. Our foot mat heater will keep you toasty warm while seated or standing at your desk or elsewhere. A Foot Mat Heater That's Effective & Efficient

I had a small fan heater which I hated using because it would make the room too hot and stuffy but minutes after switching it off, it would feel like it had never been on. I plug it in as soon as I get into the office in the morning and the floor is warm within 30 minutes.Oil column heaters look innocent but consume a large amount of power. Much of the heat produced by oil column heaters is lost above the heater to the ceiling. I should also mention that my office is the closest to the front door and the hall, although heated, is very cold. Whenever someone comes into my office and opens the door a cold breeze blows in. The room temperature drops drastically but this does not affect the floor or my legs; the RugBuddy keeps them both warm. So, yes, a RugBuddy under desk heater really is the answer to getting you through the working day without running up a big bill.

Most electric heaters consume between 1,000 and 2,400 watts and fail to direct heat where it's needed.

Specifications - Warmset Electric Foot Warmer / Foot Mat Heater

The majority (65%) of people we spoke to with electric underfloor heating had it installed in just one room, most commonly in a bathroom (64%), followed by the kitchen (34%)*. How do you install electric underfloor heating? Please note: If using the Rugbuddy on a tiled or screeded floor, we recommend using carpet underlay underneath for thermal efficiency. This can also be bought at any carpet or flooring supplier. Jute, felt and foam underlays are most suited for this purpose. Maybe it's where you sit most of the day, or perhaps you want to make a cold conservatory more usable all year round. RugBuddy is ideal under your desk working from home, or in front of the TV relaxing. Use under chairs, tables, desks and workstations - just about anywhere you need extra warmth. This innovative heater provides you with superior warmth while using a minimal amount of electricity. It's ideal for use when sitting or standing at a work desk. It's manufactured in Italy exclusively for Reduction Revolution in Australia & NZ, and it has the following features: The foot mat heater is controlled by an in-line on/off footswitch. There's even an orange indicator light on the footswitch to remind you when it's switched on.

Safe on all floor finishes over a concrete subfloor (or similar). Please note that underlay is strongly recommended in all situations and essential on hard floors such as tiles, wood, laminate, and vinyl. A qualified electrician will need to connect it up to your electricity supply and install the thermostat. How much does electric underfloor heating cost to install and run? RugBuddy comes with RCD protection built in as standard, in case of accidental damage to the RugBuddy. Please test this at regular intervals to ensure it is working properly At the end of the day, an under rug mat will only warm your room a few degrees. If you want more robust performance, you’ll need something a bit more powerful. Consider the Dreo Solaris Max. It’s a 24-inch portable space heater that can maintain the temperature in an entire room. 3. Hot Carpet Woo WarmerFor best performance you must use an underlay or rug pad. You put the RugBuddy on top of the underlay so it’s always directly under the rug. The mat heater delivers a pleasant radiant warmth from directly below where you are sitting or standing. The RugBuddy does not raise the temperature in the room which I like as being in a too warm environment makes me sleepy. It does, however, take the ‘bite’ off my legs. I am no longer in pain and can sit comfortably at my desk all day. What's more, when the RugBuddy is covered with a rug, your source of heating is discreetly hidden out of sight. Therefore, you can stay warm without the ugly clutter of a portable heater. Of course, there are more things we need to consider before we render our verdict.
