We now have three members of the Jones family who everyone, apart from the police it would seem, believed they could be seen as potential murderers or at least suspects. All three had now refused to “search their conscience” and come forward to help police after appeals had been made. Duuu, then I realised, these changed statements weren’t their own statements at all, they were statements suggested and induced by the police to give their master Craig Dobbie a helping hand. He himself describes the charge as "sexual abuse". I'm unclear why. As far as I know the charges were of sexual assault. To my mind sexual abuse indicates a more long term situation. A freudian slip, perhaps?. Maybe this was closer to the truth of what was happening in Billy and Kareen's relationship. This was another slander campaign by the police and fed to their friends in the media. The public then believed that the Mitchell’s were all guilty, making the campaign a success.
