As you might expect, it runs Android 11 from the get-go, but it also uses Oppo’s own software overlay, ColorOS 11.2, which mostly adds a few visual tweaks. It is made up of high-quality, durable tempered glass which does not wear off easily and gives great protection to your device. The oleo-phobic coating on the case protects the screen from sweat and stains. The silicone adhesive does not let bubbles on the screen. It is also scratch-resistant and finger-print free. It's hard to find a single fault in the aesthetics of the phone. The front display is only interrupted by the punch hole, kept out of the way in the top left corner, while the rear camera array looks neat and compact. The Oppo Find X3 Neo doesn't come carrying the very best specs that you'll find on an Android phone this year, but it gets pretty close – and it can definitely hold its own with the top flagships. Most users will find there's more than enough power at their disposal here. Battery life Those dimensions in full are 159.9 mm x 72.5 mm x 8 mm (that's 6.3 inches x 2.9 inches x 0.3 inches), and at 184 grams the phone is just a touch lighter than the Pro. Another difference from the Pro is that there's no IP68-rated protection against water and dust – that cost cutting has to come from somewhere, after all, so you'll have to be a little more careful when carrying the phone along the beach or across the bathroom. I understand a professional camera would do more but I love mobile photography on the go and this camera gets it. When it comes to video, the Oppo Find X3 Pro can record at 4K resolution at 60fps with optical and electronic image stabilisation enabled. Unlike the S21 Ultra, there’s no 8K video option, although I’m willing to bet that you don’t already own an expensive 8K TV or monitor, so this feature is pretty much redundant anyway. Oppo Find X3 Pro review: Verdict The phone is IP68 rated for dust and water ingress protection and is sandwiched between two layers of Gorilla Glass 5, for added protection against drops and scrapes. As far as flagship handsets are concerned, it’s also quite thin and light, weighing just 193g and measuring 8.26mm thin. Oppo itself hasn't offered an estimate of the average battery life you can get from this phone, but we don't think you're going to have any worries on this front. This is a great design as it keeps the lens off the surface but allows that incredible microscope camera to do it's thing. Charge speed speaks for itself , I like how the phone has a function allowing night charging at a much slower rate using A.I to adjust speed so when you wake the phone is 100% ready. The quality of the screen is the best I've ever used and having a 10 bit panel puts it in reference quality territory. Is that a problem? No, not really. In more practical terms, you won’t notice the difference (I wouldn’t believe you if you did), and I would argue that the Find X3 Pro’s speeds are still more than enough for 99% of phone users. It’s still very, very fast.
Perhaps even better value than the Pro model
We like what Oppo has done with the rear camera on the Find X3 Pro, and the Find X3 Neo holds up well in this department too, even if the specs of the cameras have been dialed down a little. There's a quad-lens 50MP wide, a 13MP telephoto, a 16MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro rear camera here. There'a also a 32MP wide selfie camera on the front. Once you go past that 2x optical zoom the rear camera does start to struggle, but if you absolutely have to use the digital zoom then you can get something that's usable most of the time. The photos that you end up with are more than good enough for social media, and sharing with friends, and that's all that most of us ask for. That primary 50MP IMX766 lens is the same one as on the Pro model, custom made by Sony for Oppo, and it does an impressive job of capturing light and detail. The photos captured by the rear camera are bright, balanced and sharp, with plenty of detail showing through when you examine them closely, and natural color levels throughout. This is something I ended up playing about with a fair bit , you do need to lay the phone on what ever your subject is or angle the top or bottom of the lens and near in.

Call clarity is perfect the colour OS is very well thought out with so many options to suit the individual. In the UK you can get the handset direct from Oppo and from networks including Three and EE, but there's no sign of the handset going on sale in either the US or Australia. Design

Geekbench 5 scores of 915 in single-core, 3137 in multi-core, and 4514 in OpenCL emphasize the power under the hood of the Neo: unsurprisingly, those scores are similar to those from other handsets toting the Snapdragon 865, like the OnePlus 8.
