Unique to Tobermory Gin, a splash of spirit from the Tobermory whisky stills is added, creating a standout character, unlike any other.

Produced at our Hebridean Distillery for 6 months of the year, Ledaig, pnounced 'Letch-ick', is our smoky single malt. The logo etched on the centre is the hibiscus flower which is prominent in Bruce’s childhood home of Durban, South Africa. As its name suggests Brooklyn Gin is distilled in New York, but not in the borough from where it takes its name.The result is a fresh and zesty gin, with a subtle hint of rich, sweet malt from the whisky stills spirit.

On the palate it’s quite sharp, with more citrus, plenty of spiciness, and with a vanilla creaminess and still a flavour of that malt. Inspired by our picturesque and colourful Hebridean home in Tobermory bay on the Isle of Mull, our gin is fresh and vibrant. Starting as a blank canvas, the base spirit is distilled over and over until it is clean, fresh and ready to take on the vibrant array of flavours from the island’s rich palate. Working with Glasgow-based creative agency, D8, the centrepiece of the design is the quatrefoil, an ancient Celtic symbol, rooted in the Lake District’s heritage. It features local botanicals including elderflower, tea and wild heather, and a dash of Tobermory new-make spirit, which is used more as another botanical rather than the full base.All our botanicals including heather, Hebridean tea, juniper and sweet orange peel, are steeped for a mimimum of 24 hours in the base spirit. Its a hugely striking bottle with its compass rose, nautical lines and ocean blue colour in touch with the brand story. Top with Fever Tree Italian blood orange soda ​and add a couple of dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters. Inspired by the wild purple heather clad mountains on the Isle of Mull, this award-winning Hebridean gin has been distilled with heather, rowan berry and rosehip to create a sweet, herbaceous and gently spicy gin.

Stephen Woodcock, Distillery Manager at Tobermory Distillery said: “Tobermory Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, producing one of the oldest Single Malts. Goes great with: A sprig of thyme, slice of blood red orange, a pinch of dried hibiscus flowers, tonic and ice. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. Joining our award winning Tobermory 12 year old, our 21 year old has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks, with notes of cherry wood, brown sugar and caramelised pineapples. Meanwhile the symbols on the neck seal mean “soul of the forest” or “a forest spirit” depending on which way up you read them.

As a result, packaging is now often at the forefront of product launches and we’ve seen incredible concepts in recent years.
