I am a mum of two (aged 13 and 8) and I started Tantrums to Smiles with the aim of being able to help others by sharing lots of hopefully helpful information, advice and reviews. It includes a stuffing station, 2 Build-A-Bear cuddly friends in different designs, stuffing, t-shirts, plastic hearts, birth certificates and cardboard accessories. Featuring a brand of Spin Master, this plush bear is made of high-quality materials that ensure its durability. We did not realise until doing the second bear, that it is best to almost “screw” the bear on to the side.

The instructions are really clear and helpful, with a step by step guide to stuffing and completing your bears, including tips if you run into any issues with the stuffing or zip. The teddies were smaller than I thought they would be and a parent needs to help with the stuffing part of it, but we thoughts it was a fun experience to do together and great if you have two children as they can create a bear each! I’ve always wanted to make my own bear as it’s such an important companion when your child so to create your own bear is amazing.

Each time the bear pops off you can move the stuffing around into the legs, arms and head and once all the stuffing is out of the station your bear will be perfectly plump. I found that twisted it on rather than pulling it on felt more secure, your child will probably need help with this bit as it can be a bit fiddly.I am sure all parents will agree that when you have children storage space is tight so having a toy taking up room that cannot be used again without an addition cost is a little frustrating. However the bears are considerably smaller (measuring around 8 inches tall once stuffed) and for me don't have that Build-A-Bear "feel". It is a great experience for children to be able to do and would make the perfect gift for any Build-A-Bear fan. Each Build-A-Bear Stuffing Station includes: One Build-A-Bear Stuffing Station, two furry friends, two T-shirts, two birth certificates, two hearts, two bags of stuffing and 20 paper accessories.

At first I was worried Lamb would need a lot of assistance, but he actually managed to do most of it himself. This may be quite obvious to other people but I was feeling a bit frazzled that day and hadn’t noticed. We tested out a Build-a-Bear Stuffing Station which features two different designs (of bear) and everything you need to create and personalise your own teddy bear at home.We did find that the bear popped off the nozzle a few times as the stuffing doesn't seem to spread throughout the bear so when the bear pops off you will need to use your fingers to push the stuffing to the edges of the bear including its head, legs and arms. When the bear pops off, you manipulate the stuffing with your fingers into the arms, legs and head of the bear, before putting back on the machine to add more stuffing.

A handy zip fastening makes closing up your bear super easy and means if your child wishes to change the picture inside their bear's heart it is really easy to do. If you are looking for a unique and fun gift idea for any child who loves teddies or Build-A-Bear I would really recommend considering the stuffing station as I think all children will enjoy the experience of making their own teddy bear! Thank goodness because my kids were eager to get started, I'll be honest they haven't been this excited about a toy in a long time! The machine is perfect for children and adults alike who are looking to create a personalized toy that they can cherish for years to come.Children aged 4 years and over can use the Build-a-Bear Stuffing Station to stuff two furry friends, make a wish in the hearts, dress them in unique outfits, and name them on their birth certificates all from the comfort of their own home. This toy was all about the experience of building the bears rather than the end product in my opinion.
