I don't think they are perfect, but I think they are a good balance of accuracy/cost/portability and all the features you get from having a Bluetooth devise connecting to your phone. It should also be placed level with, or slightly back from the muzzle (5-10 cm seemed to work well). This stiff carbon fiber rod attaches to the side picatinny accessory rail of both the FX Impact, Impact MK2, Impact M3 and FX Maverick, and allows the perfect positioning of the FX Radar Chronograph without effecting POI should you take the Chronograph Mount off the rifle. Make sure your blinking “connect” light on your phone when pressed with your finger displays “connected” on your phone. The app also lets you create a unique profile for each gun, copy readings to the clipboard, and connect to instructional videos on FX’s support pages.So to calculate a velocity at the muzzle, it's got to take the velocity at x yards and use a calculation to figure out what it would have been doing at the muzzle. You still need to use the existing Chronograph barrel mount that comes with your Chronograph and elastic bands.
