The book is laid into the original peach dust wrapper, titled and illustrated in black on the front cover and the spine. This classic blend of pleasant storytelling and lovable illustrations has made this book and the overall series a staple of childhood literature for nearly a century.

Hardcover, bound in salmon pink cloth titled in gilt on the spine with silhouette vignettes in gilt on the front cover. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. And Pooh is just sweet, lovable, humble, meditative Pooh--who has very-little-brains and does like this honey.

As usual they are accompanied by Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and Owl--to say nothing of Pooh's very clever young human friend, Christopher Robin.What could have been (especially considering the era in which they were written) a particularly twee, sickly sweet and very dated collection of stories of childhood, is as about as far from that as it could possibly be. Full leather in four colors, gilt titles, all edges gilt, silk moire endpapers, ribbon markers bound in.

when i picked this up from the library, i only thought of getting reacquainted with my childhood heroes. Original pink cloth, spine and lower top edge lightly faded, gilt top edge, hinges strong, small name on top of front endpaper, rear endpaper lightly offset, pages very clean indeed. With new items being added all the time and regular sale items it’s worth coming back on a regular basis. Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore would later adapt chapter 6 from both this novel and the 1926 original.
