In terms of taste, and I'm no gin expert, its possibly the nicest I've tried. I mixed it 1 part gin to 4 parts tonic on ice with a slice of cucumber. Very smooth, and refreshing. Worth knowing what you’re getting yourself in for with this. I had it neat and it is really good, but it is pretty subtle in terms of flavouring on par with some (granted fairly characterful) vodkas I’ve had. Given the range of tasting notes in the gin, Neal suggests trying the spirit first in its signature serve: a tall chilled gin and tonic, garnished with a green apple slice. The malic acid in the apple plays quite well off the palate.
