The forbidden aspect makes the relationship between Rory and Angelo more intriguing- she is the fiancée of his uncle. For instance, how they sneaked around and were forced to hide their attraction to one another is fascinating for anyone who loves forbidden romances. And the fact that Angelo literary murdered her fiancé just to be with her and reclaim his title is quite impressive. He just wants to murder anyone who ever touched Rory incorrectly. Overall, Sinners Anonymous is a well-plotted book featuring arranged marriages, murders, and familial problems, making it intriguing and intense. Like… them not kissing until the 70ish% mark of the SECOND book was just everything!!! And the kiss was just so freaking AMAZING!!! He literally kissed her in the rain because that was the only way she wanted it to happen!!! I’m on my freaking knees!! If you like reading about the hotheaded heroine and the obsessed hero, go and read it. The banter between Rafe and Penny was literally perfect.

She's a proper badass, makes him eat his words over and over again, makes him beg, is always up for the challenge that is their banter and I could rarely guess who would walk out of a confrontation having the upper hand. And Rafe? That man is pure fire. He likes to uphold that ice-cold facade, but don't be fooled, there's a devil inside and he's breaking loose.The rest is history. Most importantly, Rafe being obsessed with Penny’s thighs was- I can’t even describe it, just That being said, this is a slowburn if I've ever read one of the dark mafia genre. If you need story to progress faster, this might not be your favourite read. Also, if you value the fast progression of the plot over the slow developement between two characters. It's not too spicy, but the scenes there are? Ooof! He let her use all his money just so she would forgive him but she didn’t care about that because she only wanted him to prove her that he truly loves her!! Once again, Somme Sketcher did a fantastic job crafting a mafia romance featuring intriguing primary and secondary characters. Lorcan is a man with many flaws and the reluctant leader of a mafia family. Nobody ever anticipated it happening, but then again, no one ever expected the tragedies that led to it. Poppy is the only kid of an errand guy for the mafia. Somme Sketcher has done a fantastic job creating a dark mafia romance story that will make you fall in love with the characters, writing style, the universe, the plot, and everything. The main characters are perfect in every sense possible. Angelo is the perfect bad boy that every woman would fall in love with. He first falls in love with Rory and literary loves every aspect of hers. He makes all her insecurities because her ex-boyfriend forgot every moment she was with him. The two literary fell in love with each other without even kissing or even doing the deed is something you will rarely find in most romance books.
And maybe she will if I just told her the truth: I own the Sinners Anonymous Hotline. And I’ve listened to every call she’s ever made. Sinners Condemned is part one of a duet, and because of this, it ends on a cliffhanger. Rafe & Penny’s story continues in Sinners Consumed. It’s a gradual realization made possible by his increasing desire for her. Until the story reaches a turning point, Lorcan’s stony shell starts to break due to his love for Poppy. He gradually grows more human. The plot is filled with tension, anxiety, conflicting allegiances, and a love tale that rises from the ashes of earlier wrongdoings and misunderstandings. Thoughts and betrayal continue to rear their ugly heads even in the last chapters, making it a hard-fought HEA. I surprisingly really enjoyed reading it, despite the fact that I have a felling that The Made series was kind of an inspiration for the author. Let’s be honest here nothing, nothing will beat Made, but this series is heading in the right direction with this book. As the first one was terrible. Comparing the second book to the first book you just have to admit that this one was better. I already can say that, RafePenny> AngeloRory, but also I have a feeling that GabeWren > RafePenny> AngeloRory, if you get it you have a taste.I absolutely love Penny's character development in the second part of their story. Despite having a tough exterior but she is still wounded on the inside but she would not allow anyone to ever walk all over her even the man she is falling for.
