Tonkatsu is a Japanese deep-fried pork cutlet. You might already know it, but when Japanese-style curry topped with tonkatsu is called “ katsu curry.” It’s safe to say it’s the ultimate version of Japanese curry, and it’s so good. Adding katsu (deep-fried cutlet) is the ultimate way to upgrade your curry! There are endless possibilities when it comes to curry, and I’m always on a mission to create the best curry there can be, but in the end, it all comes down to personal preference.
