About this deal

This CPU provides a good overall level of performance that should hold you in good stead for a few years, especially in modern games that can take advantage of CPUs like the 5600X with high core and thread counts. Ryzen 5000 processors like the 5600X benefit from a big boost to single-core performance, making them from 15 to 20 per cent faster in some tasks than their predecessors and helping AMD cement a gaming performance lead over Intel for the first time in recent memory. Ryzen processors are also a great choice for content creation workloads, like transcoding or editing video, especially as their core counts increase. Few times I used the Corsair ML and was disappointed. At low speed they don’t move enough air. At 50% they do, but are very noisy. The P12 at 50% (900 rpm), below the humming band (1k rpm) move a lot more air and still relatively quiet. You’ll get a new option that correlates with the chosen lighting channel so if you installed your fans on lighting channel 1, the new option would be Lighting Channel 1. To take control of the ML120 Pro RGBs, it’s first necessary to tell the Lighting Node Pro that you want to control ML fans specifically on the channel they’re connected to. Presumably, the Lighting Node Pro works best with only one type of fan connected to each hub. Selecting a different fan type from the menu of available options will set the entire channel to control that type of fan; there’s no per-port customization from the RGB hub. Choose the wrong fan type and you probably won’t break anything, but your connected peripherals may act weird or not work at all.

the commander can do lighting(2 ports) temp, usb hub(may or may not work) and pwm for fans. the 2 led ports need an hub to attach up to 6 fans to each port for a toalt of 12 fans. Tried the O11 XL, triple 360 XT, push/pull didn’t help. At some point, when you have so much rad area, you won’t gain anything adding more fans. Cooling performance is just one line on a fan’s calling card, though. Low temperatures are no good if the fans producing them deafen the user in the course of keeping power-hungry components chilly. Let’s see just how much noise these fans make while cooling off our Threadripper 1950X. The ML120s are also fans that support the PWM technology, which means that you can configure the fan to come on only when they are needed. In terms of airflow, the ML120 RGB Elite fans provide up to 58.1 CFM and improved static pressure of 2.9mm. Overall, I’m pleased with the animation smoothness and color saturation that the ML120s produce. The fans don’t have any trouble with tough “in-between” colors like oranges, and they can even produce a convincing white in a pinch.

Custom Rotor Design

If you want to spend less:Swap that NVMe SSD for a SATA SSD. Boot and game load times will be marginally slower, but you'll be able to get the same capacity at a much lower price. Don't go for an HDD though - come on, it's 2020.

But when rad area is overkill, case isn’t restrictive and fan is good (and most importantly, quiet), I doubt you will see any gain. At idle, both of these fan sets have enough PWM range to be practically inaudible at their minimum speeds. The Cooler Master fans produce a very mildy audible low-pitched hum at a regular working distance, while the ML120 Pros exhibit just a tiny bit of buzzing from their motors that’s only audible way up close to the fans themselves. At the decibel levels I measured at idle, most any perturbation in the outside environment will be louder than the sounds these fans produce. I’ll give a slight edge to Corsair’s spinners here, but it’s a slight one. I used to get annoyed when people posted things like that, now I just laugh. The pearl is all intake, all the heat from the radiators dumped inside the case. I already have 3 RGB ML120s, and from what I can gather, the cooler comes with 2 more RGB ML120s and a Commander Core. Every time I used either P12/14 or T30, at 800 to 1K rpm was more than enough for EK (PE and the new replacement P) also for Alphacool and their XT 45mm radiator. Maybe for radiators with higher fpi or 140mm based radiators (lower static pressure from fans).

FRICTION MEETS REALITY

now form what i gathered they included the hub in the core for space saving less cables saposly less "confusing"
