About this deal

Not tested: Crash Racing, Trailblazers, Mud Runner, V-Rally 4, Cars 3, Sonic Racing, WRC 8, Mantis Burn Racing, Moto GP games, Isle of Man, GRIP, various other bargain kart/eShop only racers.

As far as the in-game experience is concerned, it is pretty solid. While you can not compare it with the likes of PXN V3II or HORI Mario Kart Steering, it can get the job done. Furthermore, the input lag is something that can ruin the virtual driving experience. Fortunately, with Numskull Joy-Con Wheel, you experience smooth gameplay with minimum input lag.A racing wheel that has the same operation and size as the car wheel with a diameter of 280 mm. It is also equipped with a mode that makes it easier to steer (180 degrees angle), and a "button assign" function to customize the button layout according to your style. In addition, it has a clamp and suction cups that fix your position to make it stable anywhere. HORI Mario Kart is an official Nintendo-licensed steering wheel and it comes with 180-degree rotation which is more than enough for Nintendo games. And since the steering wheel is mostly intended for Nintendo Switch users, it also comes with a feature to remap your keys to your personal preferences.

Yes, and that's why we're paying Nintendo heartily to balance and playtest the darn thing. Additionally, most party games have an element of chance to them because, again, it'd just be the seasoned players winning all the time. Better to err on that side than the "Make it to where newborn babies can play" philosophy that we've been getting. LavaTwilight Sure, MKWii was an item onslaught. At least now the Blue Shell hits people along the way and the Super Horn is available. Granted, the Super Horn really comes across as a "workaround" or a "stopgap" as opposed to a legitimate item addition. Overall thoughts: 4/5. The wheel feels great and solid for the games that it works with. I recommend using the clamp method vs. suction cups to prevent sliding. A lot of fun for racing fans, and having analog pedals cannot be understated enough for feel and control. The controls do provide a bit of a learning curve, but are fairly rewarding. The ability to remap any buttons, and change the dead zone/sensitivity to 7 different levels is nice. It also works on PC using XInput, which is cool for those intetested. But isn't that a slippery slope? Can't that be taken overboard to the point where who places first becomes a dice roll?" Don't forget about the pedals. Most driving wheel bundles will include a pedal box with at least accelerator and brake pedals, while really good wheels will include a clutch pedal. (Though, only a handful of racing games actually support clutch shifting.) You'll want a nice, heavy pedal box with strong build quality that won't slide around or break while the pedals are being stomped.

The PXN V3II is designed for high-end gaming and sits well with all sorts of gamers. Whether on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox, or PlayStation, the PXN V3II is built to cater to the needs of the players who truly want to experience the finest driving experience.
