About this deal

I also had one of the worst episodes of insomnia last night, which means I had some time on my hands and basically devoured this. Rae why couldn’t you have given your soul at the start you can’t live without Leon and want him stay around to protect you but won’t take the deal he’s offering. I can’t lie the part where she did give her soul to him was everything I can’t believe I’d ever be supporting that but hey it’s fictional MY INNER MUSLIM IS SCREAMING . I’m just happy Leon got what he wanted because I’d totally die for Leon he was PERFECTION your blood, piss, sweat, cum – i want it all. mine. abandon your inhibitions now. you won’t have a use for them anymore.”

Knows that a group of people are out to kill her, knows exactly who they are. Goes to a party with them and accepts drinks from them. Gets roofied and has to be rescued. Fix you? Ah, little wolf, I have no desire to fix you. I just want to see all your broken edges shine. I want to feel how sharp you are. ” I also really enjoyed seeing more about the demon side of things, their culture and how they get along in the human world.

Every path I’d taken, every seemingly inconsequential decision, had led to this moment. The choice between two eternities, a choice that was mine alone. I’d chosen. I knew to whom my soul belonged, and it wasn’t to a merciless God. One of my favorite parts of Her Soul for Revenge was getting more insight about Hell and the mythology surrounding the Deep One. I am here for Lovecraftian horror and the blending of the creepy, dread-inducing monsters with such a fantastic romance is everything I've ever wanted in a dark romance. The ending was perfect and I loved the brief discussion of mental health and the importance of therapy. Review: AHH!! Juniper and Zane are IT for me in this series! In this dual POV story, Harley divulges the dark past of Juniper and her tie to Leon and the cult. Juni is really a fierce FMC who I could not read enough of and when paired with Zane this duo was top-notch. now i have the most important question for the author. WHERE WAS THE THREESOME?? zane, leon and rae had so much potential for a threesome and when i found out that there isn’t any scene like this i started screaming.

I didn't think Harley could do this to me TWICE but they have and I'm sure they will continue to. I loved the first book in this series so much, I even put off reading this one because it's not the same couple and I realise that I was so very wrong to do so. My soul is yours to take, Leon,” I whispered. “If you’re still alive...if you can hear me...it’s yours.” my world was torn apart. it also reminded me that i still haven’t watched “365 days part two”. shame on me, guys. The spicy scenes were absolutely top tier in this book for me, I loved every single one. Their chemistry is truly unmatched. Also Harley how dare you tease me with the thought of a maid outfit, shame on you!! (ily)The development Harley Laroux has done within one year is INTENSE. I loved The Dare and Her soul to take, don’t get me wrong, but she’s upped her game profoundly and I can’t wait to see her future works Leon, I’ll always love you. But both Zane and Juniper have officially stolen your spotlight and I’m not even sorry. And to be fair, Juniper is scarier than you are, maybe she can give you a crash course? I don't really think I have anything else to say. I just feel the need to emphasise that I really believed Juniper and Zane's love story. It wasn't just smut to me and I really do believe they're so in love. Although both Zane and Juniper are often very intense, they each have their soft moments where you can tell that they're just bestfriends while also being lovers. Her Soul To Take is so filled with dirty and dark stuff I found myself shrugging and nodding (and also panting a little) at the craziest stuff that happened y the end of it. The book's central theme revolves around a paranormal cult deeply entrenched in rituals involving sacrifices, bloodshed, and a gruesome quest for increased divine power. At the heart of it all is the female main character, destined to be the ultimate sacrifice to further elevate the god's already formidable might. In exchange for her very soul, the male main character emerges as her guardian, setting the stage for a dark and compelling narrative.

I think I had psyched myself up too much for expecting a perfect retelling as I really LIKED the first book. It was such a perfect and great balance between the sex and plot and the plot KEPT ME SOOO HOOKED! But for Revenge, I found myself not really caring about almost anything. The plot felt very repetitive, and not just because we were repeating the same timeline but because a lot of the kink, characterisation and "smart mouth" dialogue was just almost rinsing and repeating Leon and Rae. While I really did enjoy the banter and sex, I guess I wanted more "newness" or aspects uncovered in the plot, but these were never delivered. I already knew what was gonna happen, every twist and turn was already done and mapped out and there was nothing amazing added (besides an epic nightclub) Authors will be thrilled with Desiree’s dedication to their stories and characters; studying each carefully to deliver quality performances that will ensnare and connect with listeners. We also have a delicious piercing scene and Harley I love these scenes and you keep making them hotter. But the way she finds her other half in someone just as murder-y as her.... CHEF KISS!!! They're really meant to be. Both love pain kink, knife play, blood play, every single thing they love the other one also loves. So it's a match made in heaven... or Hell? *wink* Zane is a demon who has been following Juniper for years, making every single being know that she belongs to him. We do have a boy obsess with the heroine trope and it's so beautiful to see you don't even know. Leon (H) is so hot woah. He's definitely one of my top book bfs and even tops Zane from the second book. He's so protective but funny and sweet inside. He's just everything. Probably the best example of an "I hate everyone but you" man. And although I complained about Rae's damsel complex, I must say, I absolutely loved it every time he had to save her hehe. The only thing that broke my heart was the use of "baby girl". It began around the 75% mark and it killed me because it would have been perfect without it. It's down to personal preference of course, but I can't help but cringe every time I hear it. It's like I can actually hear Massimo saying it 😭 "bebigorl".

Customer reviews

There are places on Earth that are cursed all the way down to their roots. Places that hold pain, that tasted blood and can’t get enough. Places where darkness grows, and even in daylight, they lie under a shadow. Her Soul for Revenge is a parallel story to Her Soul To Take, showing the same events from Juniper and Zane's point of view. Although I was wondering exactly how this would work, I loved every second of it! I loved seeing bits and pieces of Leon and Rae's relationship from another perspective! Even more than that, Juniper was the protagonist I've always hoped for! She was an absolute badass who just needed a bit of help from a demon to get her revenge. Raelynn and Leon's chemistry is on another level. I wasn't fully convinced by their romance, at first, but once they started becoming friends, it was undeniable that these two are made for each other and would do anything to keep the other from suffering.
