About this deal

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the product information on our site is accurate, this information will occasionally change. I love trying different brands of things and have occasionally bought other nappy brands over the past year but so far we’ve always gone back to Aldi’s Mamia. Some may allow struggling families to contact them directly, while others require referrals from officials. My baby is 6 weeks old and weighs 13lb 7oz I'm currently using size 2 but today he's leaked through twice. Aldi quality and pricing is very good and we would definitely recommend Aldi Mamia nappies to other parents.

I did try the premium size 3s but I am happy to stick with the normal size 3's as they are so much cheaper - and I have twins so go through ALOT of nappies! Our testers were impressed with how absorbent Aldi Mamia Newborn Premium Dry Fast 2 Mini Nappies are. The vouchers can be redeemed for free pouches of Ella's Kitchen food, and you'll also be given a weaning chart so you can track the progress of your baby's development. This nappy features a top sheet for absorption and softness, elasticated sides for a snug, flexible fit, a wetness indicator to alert mums when baby needs a new nappy and a cord cut-out area around the belly button for sensitive brand new little ones.If you're looking for a more sustainable option, Pura is giving away a free 24-pack of its 100% biodegradable baby wipes. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. I gave Pampers another go since I hadn’t used them since newborn size and this is my honest experience with these particular Pampers nappies. The CHOICE Expert Rating is made up of absorbency (40%), leakage (30%), rewet (20%) and velcro strength scores (10%). I think it’s important to remember that this is a review based on one persons experience and simply because it’s an online blog doesn’t mean the same is true for the wider population, i.

We also discovered that my baby’s bum and genitals went red after every time she’d worn one of these — no matter if she wore it for 2 hours or 12. Here's what real mums and dads have to say about Mamia nappies in the Netmums forum:My little one has used the aldi nappies since he was born, they are fab. I initially thought it wouldn't be good and thought the nappies might leak, but no the nappies are great they are I believe better quality than pampers themselves which iv had some leaks with. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. They’re currently available to mums who are at least 10 weeks pregnant, or have a child under four, and get income support or other benefits. We recommend toddler, walker and junior nappies with a CHOICE Expert Rating of at least 80%, and at least 70% for absorbency, leakage, rewet and velcro strength.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Sainsbury’s Little Ones nappies have a 3D liner which absorbs soft poo and wee helping to keep your baby’s skin dry, and a wetness indicator at the front of the nappy.I don’t think this is a true comparison you are an aldi nappy user so naturally you will favourite that brand. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. Fortunately they brought out a premium range at Christmas in which the size 3 nappies are designed like the normal range's size 1 and 2 nappies so we are using those as the standard size 3s felt very cheap in comparison and they didnt have the wetness indicator. Aldi own-brand Mamia nappies Size 2 are designed for newborns weighing between 3 and 6 kg (between 6 and 13 lbs). Please tick if you would like to receive news, offers and information from our trusted and carefully selected partners that we think you might like.

They have the same ‘look’ as leading brands, with cute rabbits having a dance between some palm trees on the front, and they have the same softness, too. But Mamia nappies are the best at keeping my daughter dry for a long time and she never leaks when she wears them. We have tried a few nappies and so far all of them leak when she poops but the Aldi ones seem to keep it in.They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.
