Imagine if you were the principal of the school. What might you do differently? What things would you do that are the same? Write about it! Have you ever read a book written by Dr. Suess? Write your own “Suess-style” story, complete with rhymes and made up words. What would you most like to learn over the next year? Think about things that interest you or questions you might have about the world and make a list!

Here is an example of a simile: “Her eyes were as blue as the sky.” Imagine your parents wake you up one morning to tell you they will take you to do anything you want to do for the whole day – you don’t even have to go to school or do your chores.
