Durability comes down to what materials are being used in the manufacturing of the iSUP, and every manufacturer on this list prides themselves in using the highest-quality materials available. You won’t find a board on this list that isn’t durable and dependable. We’ve talked and reviewed in depth each company’s manufacturing process and materials – and you can feel comfortable on each of these boards. The Breeze Aero 10’8 is built using Bote’s AeroUltra inflatable technology. It feels solid when fully inflated and doesn’t bend, even when a bigger paddler (like myself) is riding. The board comes with a two-year warranty, like many other inflatable SUPs. A little more spendy than some boards on our list, but the quality is worth the price in our opinion The Bote Flood inflatable paddle board is a nice, good quality board that’s stable enough and very easy to paddle (in fact I found it more stable than the Gili Adventure 11). It glides very well, and I feel that it is better suited to someone of my weight. This is probably why I found it to be faster and better at gliding than the Gili too.

Stable and easy to paddle: The Bote Flood is a stable enough board that glides easily, and I found it slightly more stable than the Gili Adventure. Cool colors and design: This inflatable stand up paddle board looks good and comes in six different colors–all of them gorgeous. Finally, if you are a taller, more heavy SUPer then you are going to be able to maneuver the Thurso Waterwalker 132 much like a 120 pound person will maneuver the NIXY Newport.

It is a sturdy yet lightweight board. The 11-foot long Adventure weighs 22 pounds, while the 12-foot version weighs 23 pounds. They can hold up to 290 pounds and 330 pounds respectively. Compared to other all-around inflatable paddleboards, the Thurso Surf Waterwalker is fast. I’d say it is one of the best all-around inflatable paddle boards as far as performance goes.

The glide in the water is good and turning is simpler with the shorter body shape. Weight-bearing is not an issue as it can take up to 120Kg. The Cruise Carbon 12 is a long board, at 12 feet (as the name suggests), and the extra foot in length is definitely noticeable – the board glides much easier than, for instance, the Atoll.
Our Verdict
Some effort required: Again, due to the fact that it’s not as fast as other cruising SUPs, the glide is ever so slightly reduced. Paddling is still easy, but requires slightly more effort than similar SUPs I’ve used.

One downside of this board is that it can only carry up to 100Kg meaning that it isn’t the best board for those who are on the heavy side or who want to take along a passenger. The board itself has a wide design and a stiffness that is designed to increase stability, which beginners will appreciate helping them stay balanced and feel confident. It’s not the fastest board and it might feel slightly more sluggish than other boards of similar length, however the pointed nose helps to make it ideal for cruising in choppy seas and it will even cope with small waves. It has a drop-stitch construction and is made from PVC making it robust and durable.
