The introduction of Philadelphia's People of Color Inclusive Flag was not without its own controversy, even in the gay community. Many white gay men were particularly vocal about their opposition to the inclusion of the two new colors, citing that the rainbow is meant to be inclusive of all skin colors. Polyamory refers to the ability and desire to be in a consensual relationship with more than one person at once. This is very distinct from cheating, which is non-consensual and unethical.
