About this deal

PDF / EPUB File Name: A_Fire_in_the_Flesh_-_Jennifer_L_Armentrout.pdf, A_Fire_in_the_Flesh_-_Jennifer_L_Armentrout.epub We get one final reveal concerning Ash and this is the big one: When was his kardia removed and why?? But Nyktos will do anything to keep Sera alive and give her the life she deserves. He’ll even risk the utter destruction of the realms, and that’s exactly what will happen if he doesn’t Ascend as the Primal of Life. Yet despite his desperate determination, their destinies may be out of their hands. Step into the blazing world of " A Fire in the Flesh", the third captivating installment in the " Flesh and Fire" series by the renowned author Jennifer L. Armentrout. Boasting a substantial duration of 24 hours and 3 minutes, the entrancing voice of Stina Nielsen will guide you through a tale imbued with passion, danger, and mystique.

A Light in the Flame it’s just an info dump to support a new idea for Blood & Ash. If you enjoy that series, you’ll need to read this one before, I don’t see a way around it. Thankfully Kolis seems to have been placed under stasis for the time being but it will not last, so they leave with the help of Attes and the guard Elias. They get Kolis out to stall for as long as they can before he awakens, so with the star Ash and Sera leave to deal with the next steps of their journey.one of my most hated tropes in fantasy book is when the main characters separated for most of the book and A Flesh in the Fire had exactly that: for 65% of the book Sera and Nyktos were kept in captivity and their only scenes together where when they slept walk, while those scenes were good, it wasn’t nearly enough! Honestly, I liked this one more than I thought I would. After being quite disappointed with A Soul of Ash and Blood, because I thought it was a pointless book and it was way too long for what little it brought to the plot, I was wary of this one, because this series went from being 3 to 4 books sometimes this year and I was dreading another long and pointless filler book. Thankfully, I did like it overall, but there were still many things that annoyed me.

What sets this book apart is the depth given to Ash and Sera as individuals. From book one, I've been invested in their characters, and in "Fire in the Flesh," Armentrout not only maintains but surpasses my expectations. The first 50-60% of the narrative is particularly delightful, providing insights into Kolis's motivations and behavior, adding layers to the story.

My Book Notes

do we even need to talk about 𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮 together? they're literally perfection, they remind me so much of casteel and poppy but in their own different way

the last 30% were so much better once seranyktos have reunited and it was more emotional as well, but i really really really missed all the precious side characters from the other books 🥺 my beloved Reaver and Jadis and Nektas.. YOU WERE MISSED 💔 not even one tiny scenes of them together .. we were robbed. Honestly, Kolis had enough creeper moments to make you want to just throw him out the window, but I also saw the soft side of him. How much he wanted her to love him and accept him but then a minute later he would lose his shit and threaten or even harm her physically. He was completely unhinged, and you could not understand how he could think that Sotoria would ever love him. Sera is able to slightly feel her within herself as Sotoria’ s soul is within Sera, and it was obvious from certain reactions from Sotoria that she was NOT in any shape or form loving or cared for Kolis. I’m going to ramble a lot but I think this book was so necessary to the greater fbaa world. Jla saw everyone complaining about there not being enough understandable lore, world-building, and intricacies of this universe and said here damn I’m going to give you this book lol. Everything makes sense to me this whole book was many lightbulb moments of me going oh that’s why that happened in the fbaa series, that’s why they believe this, this is how this was created and this is how we may be able to fix this. There are so many possibilities and theories running through my head. I’m going to have to reread the fbaa series now that I know the truth and facts because I have so many thoughts of what could happen in the primal of blood and bones. I'm late writing my review, but I was travelling and despite the fact I read this (I mean devoured) this book in less than 24 hours. This will obviously be a long review so prepare! It pissed me off when Poppy and Cas were separated for most of a book (WOTQ? I forget) but that she DID IT AGAIN. Sera and Nyktos were separated for 65% OF THE DAMN BOOK. 65% of Kolis whining and Poppy overthinking and literally nothing happening. plus, this series is just so damn entertaining. i literally cannot put it down. and no cliffhanger for this book (!!) plus i only have to wait until may for book 4!! I will start by saying I love Ash and Sera. I seriously believe they are the ultimate fantasy couple but of course everyone has their opinion but ever since book 1 I have loved them together and most importantly individually. They hit all the boxes I have concerning book couples and honestly in this one they went above and beyond my expectations. If you made it this far then thanks for reading and I missed a bunch of stuff concerning this book. There is just a lot of information that is best read through the book itself. We already had an idea that Sera would be spending too much time with Kolis and his fanatics, so I was prepared for their separation but what I was not prepared for was the desperation of her. Her main concern throughout her captivity was how Ash was doing, if he was safe, if he was being harmed, how she could save him. Making bargains with Kolis for his safety and we know damn well if Ash knew about it then he would never allow it.
