Because Creality now supports BLTouch directly in its firmware, it makes installing and using the BLTouch with the Ender 3 V2 and Ender 3 Pro super easy! Configuring and optimizing the BLTouch start and end G-codes is paramount for the auto bed leveling process to work as efficiently and reliably as possible, especially considering that the whole point behind using an auto bed leveling sensor is to improve reliability. Put the 3D printer on its side and open the mainboard housing. To do this, you need to unscrew three screws on the bottom and one under the print bed. Likewise, thermistors are not polarity sensitive. But for the printer to function correctly, they need inserting into their corresponding connections. Moreover, the heated bed thermistor plugs into the THB connector and the hotend thermistor into TH0. If you wish to use the physical limit switch endstops, such as those found on the Creality Ender 3, then the DIAG pins MUST be left with no jumpers connected. The recommended is 2mm. As I have seen in some places, but it was a little short after some tests and I decided to set it to 2.5mm. that works for me correctly. Of course, this distance is at your absolute choice, it is only a guideline value.To make your start G-code routine include the activation of auto bed leveling with the BLTouch, you will need to add the G28 (Auto Home) and G29 (Bed Leveling) G-Codes, respectively, after the bed heating (M190) G-code. I recommend using the breakout board as it’s simpler and saves a lot of time. Most BLTouch kits for the Ender 3 come with this now.
